Depp/Burton DARK SHADOWS Is In Production!!

Well, I see the "rumored" has been removed from Helena Bonham Carter's name on IMDb - though it remains for Jonny Lee Miller.    I guess whoever handles the Depp/DS film on IMDb doesn't follow Twitter or else they would know that Jonny Lee Miller was shooting today. (Or should that be yesterday since it's already tomorrow in England?  )

Also the film dipped slightly this week on IMDb's MOVIEmeter - from 522 to 581. But then, there wasn't much new publicity last week...

Don't know if anyone saw it, but here is a fun little article about seaweed being used in Dark Shadows, POTC, and other films.

Shadows is mentioned once, and it is unclear as to whether the beach scene being discussed is in POTC or Shadows...  But, we can assume BOTH, I'm sure.   

Hmmm - interesting. The seaweed could easily be being used for a beach scene. Or maybe the ghost of Bill Malloy makes a surprise visit and leaves his calling card of a pile of seaweed on the floor.

She doesn't say she's done with DS, but I wouldn't be at all surprised IF she is as she's been on set nearly every day for a bit more than four weeks, and it's not like Carolyn is the main character. Time will tell...

The poster on the JOHNNYDEPPZONE just recently posted that she hopes to go back to the set on Friday for an update.

Sadly heavy rain caused her not to go. (She went to Pinewood Studios instead, but she didn't see anything because security was "very tight.")

Oh well. But perhaps she'll go to the Collinwood set another day. And if shooting really does begin there next week...

Why would anyone want to be in LA when you could be in England!

Perhaps they got tired of all the rain.    And Chloe was missing her dogs.    But seeing as she seems to show up as so many events and has so many photoshoots, maybe she has a commitment in LA next week?    Or maybe they all simply wanted to sleep in their own beds after more than a month away.

Well, what do you know - Jonny Lee Miller is no longer listed as "rumored" on IMDb. I guess it's safe to breath a sigh of relief that he's actually in the film.  

One does have to wonder, though, which one of the many official mentions of Miller being a part of the cast finally got through to whoever had him listed as "rumored" in the first place?    Not to mention what took them so long to accept it...
