The thing is that many fans suspect she isn't a she at all.

Hi, I am very new here. Maybe my issue is covered in this post, but I can't quite figure out what the post is saying.
When I try to PM anyone, the Board says that my last post was less than 120 seconds ago from the same IP. It always says that, no matter when or if I last posted and no matter what IP I am using.
If that isn't the same issue as above, any suggestions as to what causing this?
Re: Problem w/posting!
I must seem very rude, because I appear to be ignoring everyone's PMs.
Second, the Leviathan Kid should not have been a total absolute jerk. There was, I believe, an enormous potential for pathos in the story of Jeb, a man who was not a man yet perhaps longed to be precisely that. Yet as originally portrayed, one could not help but wonder what super-masochistic, self-hating streak did Carolyn possess to even date this guy, much less marry him!
His character was the main character, though. It was a strange risk to take, to leave the main characters behind and start over with new ones. The risk didn't really pay off either, since viewers really did want Barnabas there.
He was hardly getting anything special. Barnabas - 40 IQ points + Johnny Cash makeover = Bramwell. If he had known what the writers were going to give him, he likely would have stayed as Barnabas.
Frankly, Angelique should be black. Given the back story, one has to wonder while Josette would have a white maid. Frankly, Gina Torres of Serenity fame would be my first choice..
Along those same lines, I would rather like to see Summer Gau as Josette ... Apart from being beautiful and talented, she has this strange, almost fragile quality.
My own view is that the filmmakers should respect the fans, but not in any sense simply obey or kowtow to them. The whole point of any artistic enterprise is for artists to bring their own personal meaning and decisions out. ... The movie is theirs, to make as they see fit.
I will judge it as itself first and foremost.
but still copyrighted and exclusive to my use I add.
so it better not end up for sale at a DSFEST or my legal
team will come getcha.
As I understand it, it was Dan Curtis.
