Now that we've reached the seance stills from the NoDS Editor's Portfolio, I want to revisit some of the early material that was published to publicize the film to perhaps fortify the circumstantial evidence that the stills from the portfolio are organized in the order that the various NoDS scenes were shot.
First up, Flip's
Curse Of Dark Shadows article:

As already noted, the article only features stills from Angelique's hanging and the seance, which are represented in the portfolio by stills #2, #9 and #10.
Next up, what 16 and 16 Spec first published:
And:

More stills associated with Angelique hanging, but also in the case of the doctored shot of Gabriel, one specifically related to the Gallery scene in which Gabriel, Rev. Strack and Laura discuss how the hanging must take place - and we know it's related to that scene because this is the undoctored version of the still -

- and as more circumstantial evidence that Gallery scene comes up as still #3 in the portfolio.
(One thing I do find quite interesting is that none of that early material is included in the NoDS Editor's Portfolio, it's all alternate shots, and in the case of the first still of Charles, one that's in color. But then Flip's first hoDS article featured exclusive photos published only by them, and 16 Magazine had published dozens of exclusive photos throughout DS' run on TV. The only shot featured in Flip's CoDS article that appears anywhere else is the one of the noose being adjusted around Angelique's neck as that one is also featured in a Daytime TV article, but more on that down the line.
Actually, it's quite fascinating what stills were chosen, numbered and included in the portfolio and what ones were not...)
