Never underestimate the short attention spans of some people. I've seen people bragging on soap message boards that they watched their show in 10 minutes because they fast forwarded through so much. Not that I think that's the way most people watch. (It's certainly not the way I watched when I watched soaps.) But apparently that type was very vocal when Prospect Park asked for feedback.
And the thing that gets me about the people who do that much fast forwarding is they're the first to complain that to them things in the storylines don't make sense. Hello - maybe they'd understand if they actually watched the show instead of fast forwarding through so much of it. Cutting a show down to 10 minutes is ridiculous. Why even both watching at all?
What will be interesting to see is what will happen now that the, for want of a better word, "normal" fans are complaining about the cutbacks...
