As much as I dislike Jeb, I do think it was a clever story point to keep him acting like a spoiled and petulant child even into adulthood. It's an interesting commentary on how rapidly he, um, "grew up."

And what a great moment that is. Probably my second favorite next to Roger referring to Jeb as a cheap, insufferable pig, which people might have noticed is something I really enjoy.
