Amy:  Maggie has picked me to be the tree in the Collinwood Christmas Pageant.  And I’m supposed to wear my coat with a few strings of popcorn.

Barnabas:  Okay Julia, based on the color of your nose hair I believe that is your natural hair color.

Julia:  You sure you don’t want to check anywhere else?  I used deodorant and I can roll up my sleeve.

Julia:  You’re going to show me what?

Barnabas:  This Batman clock made to look antique.  It’s on the mantle behind us.

Maggie:  Do you think you could get that one thing, with the stuff on it?  You know it’s sort of big, but smaller than that one kind of dog.  Some people use it on the weekends, but other people use it weekdays.  I think I left it in my room or the study.  Woops, silly me it’s right here.  Never mind then.  Wait maybe you could get that book for me.  You know the one with the word in it.

Stokes:  When you get to the past remember this little remembered social etiquette: “don't bogart the cheese man”.  Cheese doesn’t grow on trees after all.

Rodger:  See Maggie, I didn’t even know I picked my own pocket.
If I weren’t such a moral and rich I might have been the best thief there ever was.

Maggie:  That’s very funny Rodger.  When did you become such a comedian?

Lol Uncle Rodger  :)

Julia:  Thank you for loading me the Collins Family History book.  I’m surprised your first words weren’t mommy or daddy.

Barnabas:  Yes well apparently I made a lot of dukie as a baby so I heard that word a lot.  Sometimes my mom called me her little dukie even, that got kind of confusing.

Current Talk '24 I / Leviathan story line - I just finished
« on: June 13, 2022, 04:09:01 AM »
I just finished the Leviathan story.
The first time through was on Sci Fi when I was in College (University) and didn’t really know the original Peter Bradford story, so I forgot about that weird bit I didn’t understand.  After all 91’ Peter had more of a one sided romance with Victoria.
Now what was confusing and forgettable is an unforgettable (but still confusing) story point.

Even though I enjoyed the storyline back then I remember it dragging and being slow.  But going through it in Robservations with a few episodes streamed on Amazon Prime (IMBD with commercials) in the mix went quickly.

I miss remembered a dream sequence and thought they resurrected Paul before the wedding.

It was strange how Angelic was brought into fight, but hard was in the story.

That’s a good point Roland.

And anyone viewer coming in after she stopped being Burke’s spy would probably assume so too.
I’m sure ignoring it helped that 1995 scenes work better, but it makes Mrs. Johnson seem more one dimensional.  She became a background character, but it would have been nice if she kept her edge.
