I got an email back from Walt Chmara.
He confirmed that the story probably it isn't hosted by anyone (he may or may not know about the Internet Archive).
He also explained that he might finish the story one day, but indicated that it might not happen for a long time.

D_Friedlander and PennyDreadful Darker Shadows wasn't finished, but I may have some backups of what was written.

If your search doesn't turn up anything, then I could suggest putting some of those dead links into http://www.archive.org/ You could find the old text.

Ah yes the Wayback Macine.  :)  I did think about using that (but didn't get around to googleing up the link).  I had great luck finding Gargoyals stuff on that a few years ago . . anyway part of the reason I asked here is that the story (to my knowledge didn't get finished) and I knew he was revising it.

But . . I did find a good archive of one of the story sites with the Wayback Macine:
