It’s funny how that works.
I remember learning in school about the evolution of the peppered moth supposedly being because of pollution, but later in life a very pro evolution person explained it wasn’t a great example of evolution because earlier environmentalist were behind the paper (or study). He implied it was inaccurate if not worse than that.
Or you have history books that are mistaken for lack of information like all the dinosaurs theories that started changing sometime before Jurassic Park came out.
