Rodger:  Why no I don’t wear red poka dot underwear with multiple road streak stains.

Victoria:  I found a pair on my bed tonight.  Look I’m not sure if your flirting or trying to scare me, but I know you’re lying to me!

Stokes:  Be careful not to throw the 63rd hexagram of I Ching. The trigram of water over the trigram of fire might transport you to any number of G. I. Joe related dimensions including the dreaded Snake Eyes movie dimension.

——
Stokes:  The hexagram of Chicken Above and Oil Below either means you’ll get fried or open up a KFC franchise.  Probably best to avoid it, especially for my waste line.

David (thinking):  Maggie’s coat is the perfect hiding spot for my bleeder valve collection.

——

David:  Maggie?  Why don’t guys have front bumpers too?  Wouldn’t it help with our safety rating and impact residence?

Julia:  Barnabas a sommelier once told me if you add a little it really unlocks the aromatic compounds of any beverage.

Barnabas:  Perhaps Julia, but I’m snot interested in trying that out.  Keep your nose away from my spirits.

Quentin:  Life moves pretty fast, If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.  I’m Quentin.  Quentin Bueller and like every other day I’m taking the day off.  *quirky montage showing Quentin doing funny stuff * And that’s my wacky occult magic loving lawyer Freind talking to on of the many ladies that are like my needles and I’m there thread if you know what I mean * wink *

Beth:  Who are you taking too and why are you making an analogy implying you have an issue with girth and rigidity?!   . . .

Magda:  It’s not really onions, but zee spell only asks for zee smell of onions.  We can continue now.

Barnabas:  Okay.   * mumbles * Next time I time travel I bring deodorant, enough to share with everyone too.

(Yeah I butchered Magda’s accent.)

Trask thinking: Man I keep looking up even when I’m alone.  It’s like I’m lying to myself too.

Current Talk '24 I / Re: Barnabas and Bats? An Odd Thought or Two
« on: July 03, 2022, 08:25:08 PM »
I watch The Munsters reruns back in the day.  Wonder if my odd thought was subconsciously inspired by it then.

That show makes me think it’s likely somewhere in DS fandom there’s been other discussion and / or fan fiction with the idea.

lol Mysterious Benefactor. ^_^

Wonder if Barnabas would give her the Music box and have someone do alterations on the wedding dress?

listen Rodger I don’t know when you’re hair grew back, but it’s fabulous.

Setup:

Barnabas and Carolyn both found it awkward to be around each other after _______ .

Optional Challenge  . . . see if you can include the word cheese in your entree.
(I don’t think an Optional Challenge has been explicitly given, but I’ve seen several precedents in other Fill in setups and even Picture Captions.)

you have a family.  Is it so hard to call your Mom and Uncle by there last names.  I’m an orphan you know.  Orphan!  The longest relationship I’ve had was with a colony of bedbugs and only because I feed them well.

Carolyn:  Here’s the keys to the horse stables were low on horses, but we have a few cows and specialty made saddles.
