Well, since I don't have a clue, I decided it probably wouldn't hurt just to read about Mozilla (BTW, is it pronounced Mo, sounds like Mod Squad, or Moe, sounds like toe))

Anyway, this article may be of interest:
101 Things That the Mozilla Browser can do that IE Cannot Do

http://www.xulplanet.com/ndeakin/arts/reasons.html

***PLEASE NOTE....# 30...You can select any search engine you wish, not just the one that has been chosen for you****

(Um, I thought Mozilla was a search engine... ??? )

Patti

Okay,,,,what's the difference (I told you newbies I didn't have a clue!!) between a search engine (google? yahoo?) and a browser (IE, Netscape, yes??)

Current Talk '04 II / Renfrew Who
« on: July 05, 2004, 06:28:11 PM »
While reading Vlad's post on CE/A (re: versions of "Frankenstein"), I got to wondering....

Who is more "Renfrew" (boy, I sure hope that's Dr. Frankenstein's 'right hand man')?

Willie Loomis or Jeff Clark?

Jeff helps assemble the 'creature'; but, Willie helps 'acclimate' the 'creature'.

Comments?

perhaps burke no longer served a purpose on the show.remember,he was originally the show's bad-ass,but when b. arrived the collins family had a new menace and the show went in a different direction.the barnabas/burke/vicki triangle was good but only could have lasted so long.but burke's body wasn't identified at the crash site so perhaps the writers were leaving an opening for him to  return at some point that never played out.

mscbryk, what a good point of view; I hadn't thought of that.

What did A. George go onto next?

Sally, the one thing you're missing though; at the end of each days eps, some of us ::) would log on here right away to talk about eps...bloopers, faux-pas.

Or just mention how someone looked or (mis)behaved.

The 'real-timeness' of it is something I really, really miss.  :'(

And as you watch each ep, just because not all of us are watching them, we want to hear what you think about particular eps.!!

Have a great 4th,

Patti

Dear Jennifer,

We all pray and hope your surgery went well.

I'm praying your 13 year old  ::) will help out (yes, I DO believe in miracles)!!

Please take it easy...hopefully, there will be some good movies to watch.

Baby, I may be TOP, but YOU'RE THE TOPs

P.S.  When I was researching a project in high school, I stumbled across a reference to a Sandor Petofi, whom IIRC, was also an artist.  1897 had just begun airing, and I thought it was a funny coincidence.

ProfStokes...I just googled Sandor Petofi; most of the listings are not in English, Hungarian poet...lived MID 1800S!!! (bah bah bah BAAAH [ds theme] ).
