I remember when I finally got the whole series, I watched, and was quite amazed w/N. Barrett's acting chops.

Well, I've started re-watching (CUZ I CAN!!), and, I don't see anything, nothing of her closeness with Liz.

Also, I didn't remember faux-Sam being around so long....

I thought within the first 5-6 eps, there were tender moments between Liz & Carolyn....?

For me, I don't understand why the ending 'starred' Keith Prentiss.

I know D. Selby had appendectomy, but, not in the early part of '40/'41 PT.

I remember Gerard coming to visit.......?

It bothers me that an 'outsider' got the most facetime for the end.

Does anyone know why it was KP, in contrast to Gabriel, Barnabas (they should have had Barn be head of Collinwood at least one time), or, Johnny Karlen (that would have been cool!).

So, I just watched the ending of Dark Shadows 

I wanted to ask, with all the established DS actors, why the lead male went to Keith Prentice. I'm trying to not fault his 'um, lackluster or, over the edge' acting abilities...

Granted, he came on an established show that was near it's end, but, why him?

Early in 40/41PT Gerard comes to visit (I already don't remember) someone....

If they wanted over-the-top, stick with Chris P.

The times Johnnie was allowed to have a back-bone were always the best (William L. Loomis, Will in NoDS) and especially this final story arc!

Of course I was happy how much Grayson there was, why not also more Liz?

(Funny, I've posted a number of times how I hated the way the established ladies were reduced to almost non-existed roles, guess I suffered DSFMS.)

Aces for Lara...I think she & Nancy were the only two who didn't refer to the other actors with the same/different name, if you know what I mean.

Here's hoping what ever powers may be are lurking & reading our current (50 years after the fact) talking about ((((Dark Shadows)))).

Would Liz have quickly married Matthew Morgan for a 'father-figure' for David?

Sam had triplet girls, of course identical....threeeeeeeee ChJosettes for Barnabas.

M. Morgan would've forced Liz to make David attend public school, where he'd get his butt kicked.

Imagine Burke's depression....all that time in prison, then, making his fortune, only to have Roger offed.
