Renfrew Who
« on: July 05, 2004, 06:28:11 PM »
While reading Vlad's post on CE/A (re: versions of "Frankenstein"), I got to wondering....

Who is more "Renfrew" (boy, I sure hope that's Dr. Frankenstein's 'right hand man')?

Willie Loomis or Jeff Clark?

Jeff helps assemble the 'creature'; but, Willie helps 'acclimate' the 'creature'.

Comments?

DS's Renfrew is absolutely Willie Loomis.

Dracula bit Renfrew and reduced him to his slave.  That's Willie's persona on DS....

You're confusing Renfrew  from "Dracula" and Igor from "Frankenstein".......Jeff Clark helped with construction of the Creature....like Igor.

Renfield (Dracula) and Fritz (Frankenstein) were played by Dwight Frye in 1931.  It was Fritz who helped the doctor dig up the bodies, but he went alone to steal the brain.

Igor was a character in Young Frankenstein, but I think he was a humorous take on Lugosi's Ygor from Son of and Ghost of Frankenstein.
