When you change your e-mail address from Superlink to Earthlink in your profile, the forum will send you a new password to your Earthlink address. So when you want to log in afterward, you'll enter:

Username: Patti
Password: (the new password that was sent to you)

:)

MB...wouldn't I need to be recognized first to get in to change my password?

(will it let me, Patti who will be on w/Verizon, log on just as Patti, or does it really see me as Patti from superlink.net?)

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Login Question
« on: November 17, 2002, 01:09:40 AM »
Hello...having problems...have to log in via the little 'pic' of person with word login (compared w/regular front page).
My computer is tired; got a new one
(go ahead, laugh[roll3] I got a Dell [puke] )

Plus, I got the Verizon DSL, but this wait, Christmas present for my husband.

(who knows how long it'll take to be up & running...when I called Dell this a.m....uh, like...uh.. the rep wasn't sure if I'm loaded with Solitaire & she said even though I purchased Home Office, it's not actually Word nor Excel?????)

Hereeeee's my question...is logging in per e-mail?
Ex., when I log in, it says:

Name: Patti
Password: cat     (not really)

So, when I'm not on crappy old Superlink in another month, will this board recognize Patti, or will it only want Patti from Superlink.net?

Thanks
Patti

I read more on the 'wiggly' logo from a couple of days ago.

I didn't realize having the smileys was gonna cause such a problem; perhaps I'm not the right poster for here.

I've asked questions of 'mature' posters (ie, people who were old enough watching orig. run); now I'd like to ask the WOMEN who were around 11-15 during orig. run...

Did everyone see the recent post about who was the scarier ghost??? Quentin vs. Gerard?

I never had seen the whole show through, so I hadn't noticed how they tried

S

P

O

I

L

E

R

to make Gerard a total Quentin poser wanna be ::) (the sneer, the silence).

So, for the babes on here who were old enough during orig. run,.....

Seeing Quentin  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
now...he's silent, menacing, etc...scary...
Did any girls fall in love with him first time around?

(I don't think I'm saying it quite right, but since Q man  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* was scary in beginning, did you fall in love?)

or

Did you wait until say like the

E

1970PT syt TLATKLS to fall in love?

I'd call 1980's The Shining worse than pathetic. I thought it was just a dreadful version of the book!! Jack Nicholson was way too over the top. And Shelley Duvall (who's normally quite good) was horribly miscast. If I'd been Steven King, I would have sued Diane Johnson, Stanley Kubrick and Warner Bros. on every conceivable charge that my lawyers could have come up with!

The 1997 miniseries with Steven Weber and Rebecca De Mornay was a much more faithful adaptation - and an infinitely better version to boot!

MB...lol...I think the Jack Nicholas version is the scariest movie ever!!!
I cannot watch it if my husband (or other grown-up) is not at home.

I [size=10]loathe[/size] Shelly Duval[puke]!!!

She is nails on the chalk board!!!

I saw no reason to re-do the book!!

What ep/why is her hair fancy?
