LOVE this movie.  Saw it on a sleepless night and it kept me occupied!

Isn't it funny...I can remember the 1st time I saw it.
It was on my local PBS station on a Saturday evening.
Loved it!!

Can't wait to own it!!

Vicki & Barn walking (hmm...HATE that 'nouveux' vamps can 'deal' w/sunshine)...Barn asks Vicki, "Do you believe him (David), that she (Laura) speaks to him?"

Was this scene in the edited (released) movie? I've seen it about 4 times now, and sorry to say, this particular line is eluding me.

What's Vicki's answer?

Thanks,

Patti

I had never seen NoDS; I believe years ago, Darren Gross posted on here that he was doing a 'chat' with Warner Bros., and he encouraged us to be a part.
IIRC, that was my first time doing something like that, and I got in the last question which WB spokesperson answered.
(Naturally, it was will NoDS ever be released commercially!)
I don't remember their evasive answer...but, hey, at least it was....and now I own it!!

YES!! It's that episode!!

Not to doubt the undoubtable  [ghost_grin] Midnite, but are you sure it isn't the exact set? It really looked like it....

We've mentioned the original Univited starring Ray Milland:

It's FINALLY!! for pre-order on Amazon. The above link mentions I believe Oct. 25th as shipping date. (Great for Halloween!!)

Go ahead...pre-order!!!

What a great movie!! It looks like there are some 'extras' on this; I don't have a blu-ray, but it is also available.

Current Talk '13 II / 1990 Ep 7 Montage Question
« on: July 23, 2013, 11:13:12 PM »
I see the above montage for the 1990 series, ep 7.
There are women (one is Abigail, the other I would assume is Vicki).
Does anyone besides me think the costumes are more closely to the early 1810s-1830's? The do not look like clothes from 1795, IMHO.

Current Talk '13 II / Today's Montage: Deleted 1972
« on: July 23, 2013, 11:07:46 PM »
On the Main Board, the montage is a 'deleted' scene from the Burton/Depp 1972 movie.
I believe Barnabas is being driven by Willie (that doesn't seem very clear). Depp says something...,"Look for bears...to critique"... or something.
Does anyone know where this scene was to have gone?
Thanks,
Patti

I had heard of the (sp) Idyllwild fires; I'm extremely sad for all the evacuees :(

(Idylwilld makes me think of the former Idyllwild airport, which, if I'm not mistaken, became JFK {or LaGuardia})

Patti

Side note...first, it was the fires of Colorado, then, the tragedy of losing 19 firefighters in Arizona, now this....ENOUGH PLEASE!! no mas!!

You know, I *still* don't know how (or if) I'll ever get past 'Senior Poster'...

MAZELTOV BABY!!

Joe, I don't have any high-def at this point. Thanks for the info; this is probably why it appears 'weird' to me.
(If I watch through my daughter's lap-top 'puter, is this automatically hi-def...??)

Just a reminder, for those of US who have OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), Mon-Fri (or Thurs., not sure), they are 'airing' the previously web-casted (??) AMC & OLTL, at 1 & 3 pm, respectively.

Enjoy,

Patti

(PS, they look 'weird', because they weren't 'filmed' for television!!)

Off the top  of someone's head (ie, not having to imdb it), does anyone know JK's age?

Thanks,

Patti
