Oh boy, wish I would've (re: could've) bought some of the above.

Now, there's plenty for very high $200s, $300s, $400, and even a couple for low to mid $500s!!!

Here's a question: 1 seller has '25'. Not (I don't think it's ep 25, disc 25, or ...???)

But there are many different sellers with that '25'....

Why didn't YOU PEOPLE buy it for me? (I want the coffin & the ups & extras!!)

It would be soooooo nice to sit & watch, oh say 8-12 eps every other night for a loooooong time!!

Patti, who's not 25

You know, there were QUIET a few years Jackie didn't act (his words).

But I always know the name: original "Bad News Bears".

Magnus, I'm sorry, I thought the malady was you weren't going to be able to move/speak (hence the couple of PMs I sent you).

So you have severe macular degeneration.

First, I want to make sure, your regular email is embryorm@earthtones.com, right?

Next, what is your real name? (I've already got you in my feinest@windstream.net 'main' email).

My sister in law late in life (the norm is late teens to early 20s), started with retinitus pigmentosa (sp). Her husband is/was a chiropractor, then within the last 15 years got his MD. He doesn't practice medicine, he does alternative healings (I believe diet). Hers completely went away (and she was blind in one eye), unfortunately, now in her mid-50's it's coming back worse.

Like I said, if you're able, email me at feinest@windstream.net WITH YOUR REAL NAME :) and email anytime you want. Also, since now with most 'smart phones', you can speak the phone# & the message, how's texting for you?

Feel good and sleep good.

Love ya lots,

Patti

« on: December 01, 2015, 04:25:36 AM »
Right now (10pm est) on ebay, there are 3 pretty good auctions for the entire OS.

One is NOT the boxed set (coffin), but, all the covers on all the DVDs have same pic of Barnabas (it does list 1226 eps). That's $149.00

The other 2 good ones (the set in the coffin) are $177.50, which currently has 5 bids, and the other is $199.99, which has no bids.

WAIT.....I'm toggling between here & ebay:

There are (2) NEW (in coffin): one is $202.50/5 bids, the other is $191.50/with 8 bids.

I wouldn't hate anyone who bought this for me......
seeing as no one congratulated me for becoming a 'god'
So, I indeed shopped on 'Black Friday'. The above mentioned Walmart at 12:10 a.m., plus a business I deal with who I knew was having a 15% off.

When I opened my email today, the Sound of Music blu-ray,2-disc anniversary edition was

$14.95!!

Four bucks cheaper than it orig. displayed!!!!

Yeah me!!!

Whoop (which is what I'll do to my daughter if she even LOOKS at the disc!!!) Whoop!!!

It's nice to have friends to share with.

Patti

PS...I just read original post. I bought "The Sound of Music" 50th anniversary ed., blu-ray, 2-disc. Duh

I wanted to go on Walmart; all the 'hubbub'.

I decided to check DVDs:

I JUST GOT THE 2-DISC, BLURAY 50TH ANNIVERSAY EDITION FOR $18.!!!!!!

(Little background: SOM was my very first DVD. Without permission, my daughter opens the plastic cellophane........ggrrrr!!) Then, she decides to watch it. Needless to say, "I don't know where it is Mom"; while the box is still here!)

Yea me!!

John Yaeger and Buffie are also reminiscent of Bill Sykes and Nancy from Dicken's "Oliver Twist".

DC only 'borrowed" from the best!  ;)

Oh,wow, I hadn't thought of that....it's spot on!

Current Talk '15 II / Eps 994-995 SPOILERS
« on: November 26, 2015, 07:30:26 AM »
If you haven't read or watched episodes 994-995 (or a few before/after), again SPOILER. (I'm not going to put this in 'spoiler').

First, Robin mentions that Trask said he's surprised about Hoffman's leave (in parenthesis, she wrote HoDS).

Second, Quentin tells Amy he's going to let her go for a visit, to the Loomis'. She said, but I wanted to stay with Chris. Chris (or the actor) wasn't in HoDS, right? So, where was he? Since they had already 'pared down' due to movie, why would he be absent?

I can't remember where Daniel is at this point.

(and oh, how the mighty have fallen; this is our first modern day Trask and he's a butler
I think he was quite elevated, at least it's honest work.

Now, about Damien Edwards (Sky, right). Again, light on 'regular' cast, why not use D.E. more?

David Hennesy wasn't in HoDS either, correct?

This was a good read! Thanks again lovely Robin :)

P.S. HAA wasn't in House either, right? So, where is he?
