Poor Barn, sort of.

If he can be logical for five minutes (and Barnabas is a rationale & logical dude), he'd realize no-way-Jose is ChJosette still alive.

So, Barn's nothing truly important to the Levis. That's crap, they told him when he first returned from 1895/1795 that he is.

Where's Nancy Barrett been?

Everyone EXCEPT Grant....

Creepy eps...Barn being so mean-spirited.

Poor Amy...two against one.

Liz to Julia at antique shop, where the kids are already fighting: "Sure, it's okay to leave youngish kids unattended, especially when they're being mean to Amy, plus all these expensive antiques, yeah, it's fine".

Why (I don't believe it was addressed) did Megan & Philip leave dear, sweet F**CK face Allie (yuck yuck) alone...he was 'young' and could have hurt himself.

I don't know if I sense of 'crush' from Stokes to Julia, perhaps, but, I think Stokes appreciates having someone with intellect plus a sense of curiousity, as he has.

Oh Lawdy, lawdy, yeah, we won't be seeing 'Alex', but worse is coming.

Creepy, creepy....Liz, Barn and David.

Don't 'overthink' the Quentin not dying/haunting Collinwood....remember the huge holes that the 1967 seance which sent Vicki to 1795....Phyllis Wickes....remember, it's a soap-opera, dead people come and go; there isn't a great deal of continuit with that, and that is not by any means just a DS thing.

Two different things:

First, and I don't know if it's possible:

My laptop DOESN'T have a CD/DVD slot, but, IF it did, can one 'copy' a movie onto a USB/flash drive (to take on a trip/less space)? I have no idea how to do this; space, sound, etc, but, if I've bought a movie/CD, I can't make a copy of it FOR ME (no, I do not copy stuff for friends, and I was fairly young when I stopped (including telling my friends/family, no, don't make a copy for me, the worker is worthy of his/her hire).

WELL, AS USUAL, I TAPPED ON SOMETHING THAT MADE MY SECOND PARAGRAPH, 'GO AWAY',,,,THEN, I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF MY ABOVE PARAGRAPH. THIS HAPPENS ON HERE ALMOST ALL THE TIME. GRRR!

If I bought the VHS (there's no Regions for VHS, right), couldn't I have a friend transfer it from VHS to DVD?
I'd still be buying it; I will in fact make copies of music or movies to watch in other parts of my house, or on vacation, in the car, etc.

Gerard, you know when I have my first push button phone? When I got married.
I didn't have cable until I asked my mom to pay for it for my for a year as a Christmas gift, I was 25.

Any time a song comes on the radio (or, Pandora), I'll recall if I had it on 45.

I bought my first VCR when I was 24.

"Well, we're cousins, (almost) identical cousins & you'll find,
they have old fashion technology, no $$ to buy the newest,
some have only seen the sights (ie calling them the 'Barnabas one' and the 'Quentin one') a
cousin could see from Brooklyn Heights,
BUT THEY HELP KEEP MY MIND.
Cousins, we're a bunch of a kind!"

I love you

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&ghostText=&_nkw=Sony+BDP-S1200&rt=nc&LH_Auction=1

Okie dokie. Getting close to where I'll need a new DVD player.
I've never even watched a movie on a blu-ray; but I do know they had come down in prices.

Read up on a few....wait...I should've mentioned my sister sent me a new 42" LG flat screen 1080 yada (it's still in the box untile I get a specific 'table' which can fit it).

It's not a 'smart' TV, but HD (but, that will only happened if I want to pay Dish MORE $$...so, nope).

But, I will go ahead and get a blu-ray.

Currently, I've been pleased with my Sony, not blu-ray, overall, so, I'll stick w/Sony.

There's sooooo many whistles, bells, what-nots, thingamagigas, so, I went to ebay.

Can someone please look at some of the (for the most part) same Sony BDP-S1200. What's the difference? What's the 'wired' and other stuff....

If they are NOT new, do they HAVE to state not new or slightly used? And, streaming is like for Netflix, et al, right?

Anyone's input into this model also would be appreciated.  Red + yellow= orange.

Arashi, as long as it's legal, I would appreciate it if you downloaded it.

Then, separate instructions how I would get to it. Are there commercials?

Thanks,

Patti

So he could legally burn to DVD FOR HIMSELF ONLY?

Could I? (Not that I'd know how....)

Arashi, thank you very much for your generous offer.

I really do not like YouTube, but, much more than that, I like to OWN the discs.

Patti

*****************************************

Actually, here's a question; if Arashi, (and many others) can upload a movie on to a 'public domain' (I don't know if YT is 'public'), would he be able to copy it onto a DVD, legally. If he can watch whenever, wherever he wants (and by no means is he the only one), what's the difference in putting it onto a DVD?

Do you PROMISE not to tell (especially the 'cool/beautiful peeps', we'll say Midnite, MB, Josette, MsCrysede. Not that there are not ALOT of freeeeeky cool peeps, but, they are hmm...don't know how to phrase it.
We could say (((dom)), and I hope you'd get the point. Nancy too.

Anywho, here is my secret:
I have not seen "House of Dark Shadows" in at least 30 years.
Oh, the humanity.....

Remember, it was the SUBJECT, so no take backs....I'll know who's been writing about me on the bathroom walls. Wish I had a more shame VCR with a working remote.

I know there's CNET (MB turned me on to them a while back)
Problem is, CNET has become like WebMD.

Me: How often should I change my bandage?
WebMB: Your arthritis is caused by a lack of vitamin C & K. ?
WTF???

Me: I saved my daughter's resume on our main PC AND a USB. I tried to open on my laptop, using SAME Microsoft suite.
CNET: The newest iPhone will come with a spare tire for your BMW.

ibid....WTF?

Seriously though, about above, I updated my daughter's resume, saved to the main PC, then saved to my one & only drive, and I can't find it.
On the PC, it may be G drive, and on my laptop, the USB may register as E drive.

I've tried by drive name(s), date (today) and I cannot find her resume.

Help!
But, I don't need help with how to churn butter, check for moles or flossing.
(Yes these were facetious.)

Patti

PS...I DO KNOW TO PROPERLY REMOVE FLASH...MOTHER MAY I TYPE THING...I DON'T JUST YANK IT OUT OF TOWER.
