I'm here today to confess I've never read anything by Lovecraft.

I'm on Amazon, and there are alot of his stories free for download.

Could anyone make 3-4 good suggestions?

Thanks,

Patti

Nonsense!  I basically liked it, but I do have some reservations about it.  I haven't really fully made up my mind, so I'm definitely in the middle!

Here Here!!

I basically like it too; the main things I don't like are characters/arcs that had no options except to either be 'smushed' together, or dropped.

Am I having a faulty memory, or
Weren't Levis 'scared' of werewolves?
I completely love when Barn & Quentin are working together!!! They actually have a good chemistry between themselves.

Angie, baby, you're a special lady.....(emphasis on special!)

Cher,,,,Sheriff same/diff.

He is an oaf! I hate him! WHERE'S KING JOHNNY WHEN YOU NEED HIM???

I would've called him, thanked him for the roses, then when he asks if they're still on for 8pm, I'd laugh.

GET BENT BUDDY.

I'm in rare form tonight,

Patti

Gothick, so out of all the other suspense/mystery stories DC could have 'borrowed' from, he figured since 1895 Quentin was wildly popular, let's do it again??

Oish

Merle Oberon lolololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Recently, I posted one of their names as Hesbola.)

Word....before anyone wrote it, I wondered about Petofi....I genuinely think he would have fled. (Not King Johnny though.)

It was 'weird' having Barnabas be 'mean', but, it was good acting.

Sorry, I'll always hate the Todds.

What a lout!

Carolyn, minding her own business @ the antique shop, and H I M (ick!) doing the 'guess who' of hands over her eyes.

He's never met her, but, feels he can touch her......

Can we change his name to Bill.....cuz someone's going to Kill Bill!
I can't remember time wise, I didn't think there was such a big gap in when we first see Mrs. Rumson, when some action is going to come her way...
I was just viewing something on 'another DS site' (don't worry, it's Stuart's), where DC's Turn of the Screw is mentioned; it says buy Turn of the Screw on Amazon.

I went there, because, I'm ashamed I don't really know the story. I see though that is Henry James and
it's about Daphne, Tad and Carrie.
But, there was something else, that may be of importance to Sci-Fi affecionados:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004WJT5H4/ref=amb_link_434118042_3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=hero-quick-promo&pf_rd_r=036CQC1NTCFRVY22EN07&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=2108888022&pf_rd_i=B000060MVG

In case the link didn't copy correctly, it's that TODAY on Amazon, you can buy the entire series of Stargate Atlantis for $43.99. That's the blu ray, I believe it's for BR/regular DVD also. It says it's 20 disc version.

I believe that would perhaps make someone happy.

I got "Gilmore Girls" in a fancy packaging for less than $100 about 5 years ago (same with "Charmed"). I received an email from Amazon a while back, I could've bought whole series of "Boston Legal" for like $50! AAhhhh!!! I didn't buy it!!! :(

KLS was in a movie with Vanessa Redgrave? Vanessa Redgrave was in a DC production? (Again, though, HJ story.)

Since I primarily know his work as a vampire, and, since he was in Dark Shadows, I feel I won't get 'locked out' by asking some Christopher Lee questions.

As I stated, I don't believe (with the obvious exception of DS), that I've seen many non-vampire CL movies (on a different thread, on the $1.99 movie, I know there's a movie with both C. Lee & P. Cushing, not as enemies/monsters).

Are all the C. Lee/P. Cushing 'vampire' movies 'Hammer Films'? (I had never heard of that until here, even though as a youth, I had seen them all alot.)

Hammer Films.....is this a production company (akin to 'A Dan Curtis Production)? Or, was the franchise purchased by 'Hammer' (who is Hammer)?

Was C. Lee 'professionally trained'; his elocution is very good.

I've seen him be impaled by a full man sized cross, burned to death by sunlight, and, I'm not 100% positive, but I think at least once staked.

Can anyone else name other VAMPIRICAL deaths C. Lee died by?

Patti, who of course, watched a Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing movie this weekend.

Ohhh....Midnite beat me by 20 minutes, but who cares.

We Loved Christopher Lee....of course his Hammer work, and what a blessing to have him be in '12 Dark Shadows.

Sad....:(
