Sorry sweetie...when I asked, "What am I not doing right"....I should've said my above words hello were in two different fonts, but didn't appear as I thought they would (in other words, can you do your voodoo and see what I did wrong, or, perhaps this board doesn't support the two fonts I chose).

Can you tell me two 'stylishy' type fonts that this board does support?

Thanks again....stay COOL!!

(or, visit us in the NE...don't have to worry 'bout the heat!!! aaaahhhh...where is spring????)

Thank you Stuart :-[.

You're right...on the opening credits of 90210 there's like 5 producers plus 3 exec. producers.

I forgot (look at my subtitle)....who OWNS DS?

Does DC...if so...what is the relationship with Worldvision (not affiliated with blah blah)?

Thanks again,

Patti

Also, does anyone know what exactly DC will be doing inasmuch as production of hopeful new DS?

......my Dad collected every word Ray Bradbury ever wrote, so I'm pre-disposed to be spooked by carnivals.

Rainey....ME TOO!!!
But in my opinion, the all-time, hands down, everybody-else-get-in-line best series in this genre is "Twilight Zone".  Scripts that literate and intelligent have all but disappeared from television and films today...and I hold out no hope of them every returning.

Would I be too repetitive if I again said, ME TOO?? :-*

---------------------------------------------------------------

Alright....as long as this is here....I've had a question for a loooooong time.

When I was very little, I remember seeing what I believe to be an ongoing show; all I can remember, there was a girl and two boys, who...somehow?? got I believe time and or space 'pushed' to 'somewhere' else??

Anybody have a clue??

Thanks

I wasn't ever able to download the forum fonts (though, it's the first thing my computer pulls up when the keyword is fonts!!)

What am I not doing right?

Current Talk '04 I / The Producers
« on: March 30, 2004, 12:05:04 AM »
So, if I'm correct, the producers of the HOPEFUL new DS are John Wells (Law & Order), Josh Wheldon (Buffy) AND DC.

Uhh...first, couldn't there possibly be a problem with the old adage too many cooks spoil the pot?

Or, has anyone heard if each gentleman will have a hand in a certain aspect?

And, not to get negative, nasty, but....what has DC don't lately to merit being in 'the big leagues' with these other men? (I don't think that sounded right, but, I hope you catch the drift.)

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Text Size
« on: March 29, 2004, 11:59:19 PM »
For whatever reason ::) my daughter always changes view text size to largest or large.

When I log on, I change it to medium.

(This is on microsoft home page...please don't hit me MB.)

But, after I've changed it, it's viewed correctly, then I come on here and it's still on large or largest.

Why doesn't the change go from site to site?

Thanks,

Patti

Current Talk '24 I / Re:WB ORDERS FILMING OF NEW DS PILOT
« on: March 26, 2004, 12:16:48 AM »
I just did my weekly check of the My Entertainment World Web site, and their TV PRODUCTION EVENTS, TV PILOT / TV MINI SERIES chart is reporting that the pilot has a start of production date of March 22nd:

DARK SHADOWS - (TV Pilot - One Hour Drama for WB) - March 22, 2004 - Los Angeles

Has anyone heard anything about this yet?

The '91 series' Willie was VERY different the original version as portrayed by John Karlen. I suspect you might have hated him.

ummm...is he supposed to look like a complete THUG? (Not for nothin', but your average 8th grade GIRL could take this guy ;D )

I think Barn'll have a cell and a computer, but not necessarily a TV. "Idiot Box!" (Of course, his rationale will be that a) he's not going to pay $60/month and b) that the SOX HAVEN'T WON IN A WHILE....sorry sweetheart Jennifer ).

He'll NEED to walk (I can't see Barn doing his 2 miles at the mall!!!) :D cause of his 'cholesterol' ;) (which, also, can help explain the Dr...cause a Julia character needing to be there to 'research' would be very outmoded.)

Well, I decided to try; I went to world vision/CBS whatever (NOT the religious affiliation).

It mentions  [flmthrw] Dr. Phil alot, and Jeopardy, but nothing about DS.

Also, there's no e-mail contact listed,,,,and I'm just too lazy to W R I T E a letter!! (Sorry!)

Circa 1979, on a syndicated channel (back when there were only 6 channels).

I happened upon a movie where a guy and a girl in a liferaft?? come across a ship.
They go on board...no one's around...finally, after whatever....it's inhabited by SKELETONS!! [bonny_hand]

(I see some of you post that werewolves were your spooky thing; mine has always been skeletons. I happened to:
a) just gotten home from a funeral
b) was all alone
c) yes, there was thunder and lighting
d) was stoned, so....

Anyway, I can't believe I've never come across this movie since then.

Has anyone ever seen it? It's not a new movie, I'm thinking circa 1974.

Thanks,

Patti
