The great thing about this point in Parallel Time is the opportunity to see two Graysons on screen at the same time.
I remember when Cher used to do that "Vamp" segment on her show. She'd play different vampy women and at the end, they'd all appear on screen together through the magic of Chromakey. Now, wouldn't it have been just too delicious to have all the Grayson characters on screen at the same time? I'm sure the writers could have come up with some sort of disturbance in the space-time continuum that would have resulted in Julia, Nathalie, Magda, Hoffman, and the 1840/1 Julias all appearing in the same room.
Hmmm - apparently, then, it would seem that, like so many companies before them, Dell has become a place of inflated egos where, instead of becoming more dedicated when the news of increasing sales and larger market shares are announced, the rush of power and placement in the industry makes them completely forget how they got there in the first place.
i'm glad you will be getting a home computer Vlad, then we can see more of you around here.
Re: Best Buy, not librarians -- God bless (some) of them.
However, my current experience with Dell has been hell on earth -- I made an upgrade, for which I've been charged over $300 but didn't get what I paid for and have been at their mercy for the past three weeks with no resolution in sight.
Now I find out that I could have found almost the same thing -- actually a Compaq Presario with more memory and a faster processor from Best Buy online.
Still exhausted and at the mercy of Dell, whose customer "care" staff couldn't "care" less.
even though it was closed because it was unstable. Those were the days when they weren't as strict about worrying if the whole thing collapsed. Double-features - remember those? They went the way of taking chances with unstable structures.
