Alot of things couldn't be done while Dan Curtis was still alive.

Who 'owns' Dark Shadows now?

And, is it in different parts; (the TV series, the IP, the characters)?

I'm asking, because why wouldn't it be on Netflix et al.?

I have no idea if 'someone' gets money for their show or movie being on Net/Hulu/Prime.

Does anyone know?

Oh man, I hope it's legit.

(It does read 2nd edition, or something; it says it DOESN'T come w/signed postcard from J. Frid).

But, it mentions 'white ribbon' to hold it open? (In the coffin dom.)

It's never been opened (still in shrink); and, the seller is in USA.

"Of all the gin joints in all the world..." or, in my case, WHY HASN'T IT GONE THROUGH? COMPLETELY OCDing about this; ebay lists it as I bought it, PayPal lists it as I've bought it, but ANY other time, I'd have gotten an email on my gmail account, and, it would've shown on my bank. (Again, completely OCDing.)

I have NEVER seen DS from ep 1-122X.

I'm going to savor the 'extras'.

(What you don't know....when I buy a TV series, which I love to own, I'll watch it just a little at a time, until the next season.) Actually, the only one I can say that I've done this is "True Detective". I wouldn't let myself get to the last 2-3 eps of the first season until I purchased it on Amazon.

BTW, how would I know BEFORE I open it, if it were a 'phony'? Any tell-tale signs?

Besides Amazon, does anyone have some suggestions on how I find a book?

I don't remember the title, but, >< 1 year, I believe it was published in 2003.

It's a book about how each state became part of America (when, why, if becoming a state, slavery would be allowed).

I'm not positive, but, I believe each state was listed alphabetically, not chronologically.

Amazon et al. list books on America, but, those are for children; there will also be America books on each state's bird; sticker or puzzle books.

It would have been a little large, but, I'd put it in the 'coffee table' book arena.

I kept borrowing it from the library,   I LOVED this book.

Could someone briefly tell me which eps are on the 50th anniversary DVD?

 (And, if you're able, please don't say 'episode 58th, but, rather ep 58th; Vicki is locked in an upstairs abandoned room...I'll know what is next.)

Since I'm obviously NEVER going to own the complete series, I'll 'piece meal it'; I just bought the Haunting of Collinwood, and a few years back, I had bought the Fan Favs.

I vaguely remember reading a book (early 80s) w/a missing kid AND a government lab.

It was either Stephen King, John Saul, or Dean Koontz.
