I cannot have seen the early Barn eps, especially where he's thinking, "I must eliminate David".

What? I always remember Barn being loving & protective of the various incarnations of DH.

I really HATE Barn at this point; I remember some cousins didn't like him, and I didn't understand why.

At least David's behaving less psychotic.

Can't believe it....

I know it's not on Netflix; I never knew it was on any of them until a few months ago when MB mentioned that Hulu wouldn't be free anymore, so, if you wanted to continue watching DS, you'd have to pay.

About 20 years ago, I picked up a book at the library, about this witchcraft mania.

This book was small, but heavy on 2-3 judges from both sides of the Atlantic.

Both Colonial & British agreed that it was way out of control. (Meaning that the 2-3 judges knew that alot of people being accused of witchcraft was not true.)

But, they did also throw (IIRC, only women), into water, "If you float, you're a witch. If you don't float, you're not a witch" (but, dead).).

I believe there was 1 case of stoning a man, guilty of witchcraft.

I could imagine Agnes Moorehead in the Mrs. Johnson/Miss Collins, but, not in lead.

(I've heard so many nice things about Ms. Moorehead.)

Calendar Events / Announcements '17 I / <OT Horror Series Question
« on: March 14, 2017, 03:16:19 AM »
I got an email from Amazon, selling a TV series, "Fear, Itself".

I'd never heard of it; looking around, most people seem to think it was pretty good. It's the whole series, 13 episode anthology series (the description on Amazon).

Has anyone ever seen it? Is it worth $10-$15?

It says Season 1; I don't seem to see anything about add'l seasons....

Thanks,

Patti

Ep 224....the ending....

Maggie, (dreaming), walking through the ground fog, comes upon a coffin.

Looks inside, it's HER!!! This was very creepy, I've never seen this!! But then, when the still dreaming Maggie sees herself, then screams, then, it's a skeleton head!!! OMG...this was so good!!!!

Gothick, totally agree about being the or close to the best of all the story arcs.
Possibly though, it's because it has a beginning and an end (unlike Barn, semi-Quentin, Angelique).

to have David turned into a Bic Lighter like her.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

like his sit-down interview was done at the fest) and he died in '97, so I'm sure his pre-dated the DVD release.

Weren't the DVDs being released by '97 (at least Barnabas ones).....?

How do I know which month? (For instance, I see Laura & David sitting on a fireplace hearth, I KNOW that's from March '67, since I just finished watching it.)

For Vampire Diaries watchers, I see that tomorrow (Fri, 3/10) has a 'special' at 8 p.m..

It airs right before the normal 9 p.m. episode...it's a retrospect.

And another thing; the year, 1897, the place, Collinwood.

I've mentioned it recently...Quentin saying to Laura, "You're Dead"!?

A few days/weeks later, Barnabas thinks to himself, "Can this be Laura of my youth (1767); I was young, but she looks exactly the same" (or close). Laura thinks to herself, "It was a long time ago, and he was young {if we follow the 1767/Dead Laura timeline}, but he looks exactly like a grown version of himself".

If/since she died in 1897, or 1896, why was she back pretty soon, this time to get Jameson & Nora?

She's a double-minded Phoenix, IMHO  [snow_rolleyes]

Tantalizingly close to end of Laura storyline.

Okay...first, Phoenix police POSITIVELY identify burned woman as 'Laura' (let's not do various last names). When coroner does one last check, 'poof', body is gone.

Then, the graves of 1767 & 1867 Lauras are opened, and, surprise, no bodies.

If the aforementioned Phoenix Laura burned in 1967, why does she keep saying she's almost out of time...didn't the 'rising from the ashes thing' have to have happened, i.e., dead body, disappeared dead body, out of the blue (or should I say red & yellow), Laura.

Didn't the 1967 Laura already die? Why then, while in Collinsport, does she keep saying she has to get away...?
