[ghost_wink]    In short, as one of three salutes to the show's history, OLTL is revisiting a time travel-type concept, which first played out in the late 1980s, when Sam Hall was head-writing the show,

Brian...can you refresh my memory as to the story arc from late 80s on OLTL about time travel?

I too was going to post on here...Monday they showed (at least I assume it was her) Agnes Nixon, creator of OLTL. Did Clarice Blackburn work with Ms. Nixon? Anyone have any photos they can post?

(PS, Brian, if nothing else, it's Victoria Lord Riley.)

Is there any legal way to post '04 pics on here?

Thanks,

Julia came on the scene after Maggie had been kidnapped by Barnabas and was rescued by the ghost of Sarah, who gave her a riddle as to how she could escape from the basement cell Barnabas had put her in. Originally, Dr. Hoffman was supposed to be a man, but it was changed when Grayson Hall was hired to play the doctor. Dr. Woodard recommended her to Sam since Julia ran Windcliff, where Maggie was sent. The ruse was that Maggie was dead so that the kidnapper wouldn't try to kill her before she could I.D. him.

But how why did they call on an 'outsider' to help? How far along was the Maggie kidnap plot?

Thanks,

Patti

This really sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.

I realize there's probably large crowds, but how many of you attending the west coast fest will be there (before) when the doors open Fri afternoon?

Patti

PS....JF & DS reading & acting....is this the type of thing which will 'appear' on youtube? (I'm starting to get hooked on watching old eps of OLTL!)

The Introduction of Julia (episodes 265-365)

For some reason, I thought Julia was there before Barnabas (good 'ol FDSMS).

Can someone recap Julia's arrival?

Thanks,

Patti

Animated films have an especially long production period and Burton is the type to want to personally oversee it all.

MB, I haven't been reading this topic until today/this page.

Is the DS remake slated to be animated??

(I almost didn't read the article above you linked because at the top of the site, there's a banner ad for BERGDORFGOODMANS!!.)

Current Talk '08 I / T.Z. Ep
« on: June 01, 2008, 04:28:01 PM »
I just saw an ep of Twilight Zone I'd never seen before (sorry, I already forget the title, something like "Long Live Egypt").

The info on the show prior to me watching said, "A reporter is fascinated with a woman who does not age", so I thought shades of Dorian Gray/Quentin's portrait.

But! not so....
It was about a woman who was from ancient Egypt (a la Laura) who 'never ages'.
There was one scene between Ann Blyth (who looked STUNNING) and a reporter where A.B. was being playfully evasive where I swear it was like hearing/watching Angelique/Cassandra.

If I ever see it coming on again, I will post in on the CE/A board. It's worth the watch. (Still can't believe there's a TZ I hadn't seen!!)

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't believe I've seen this movie; if anyone else has, can you post & say if it's worthwhile (besides the obvious fact that JOAN BENNETT is in it!)

Patti

PS<Borgosi, off the top of your head, do you know what time it airs?

Thanks!

Current Talk '08 I / Re: Who Would the Collins Family Vote For?
« on: May 22, 2008, 12:50:08 AM »
Oh, come on, surely they don't discriminate against the dead in Collinsport, of all places!

Oh Lydia....thank you so much for this chortle:)

Stokes I think would vote Obama.

Good call David about the Todd's; I can see a big sign on their store-front window!

I think Elizabeth would vote for Hillary and Roger for McCain.

Hmm...just wondering about Mrs. Johnson.....

Does anyone know if before or during DS's run there were 'ghosts' et al on other soaps?
