Current Talk '03 I / Magda Meets Topol
« on: January 17, 2003, 04:56:19 AM »
One afternoon, Magda:
sachez
slinks
walks

wanders?
into the Old House.

In there, she meets a stranger.

"Who are vyou?"

"Who am I ::) I am Yarmulke Collins. I am from the Eastern European Collinses."

Magda stares at him. "I do not trust a man with 'a' accent!", she hisses.

"I will curse you Yarmulke Collins!"

Yarmulke looks up at G-d.

"Curse me? HE has not seen fit to give me money, who am I to argue (shrugging shoulders)? HE has not thought it a great thing to give me sons, HE is good."

Magda tries to curse him, but no go.

Magda is pouring a potion into a drink..."Here YAR mule kay...drink this".

Yarmulke Collins says, "Oy, I cannot go home to my wife with drink on my lips."

"Besides woman...I cannot drink with you...TRADITION!!"

Magda is beside herself....who IS this man she cannot curse??

What is his power??

Biridie, I imagine you would be horrified to know that I actually love  going into an empty parking and deliberately spinning the car on the slick surface . . driving then hitting the brake suddenly.

Of course, there is lot less to fear in an empty parking lot when you are doing some silly stunt deliberately as opposed to doing the stunt unintentionally and with other cars and trees nearby.

Nancy

Me Too! (With emphasis on driveway/no other cars).

Got a new car 2 years ago, and it's been very mild winters here last two  years. Don't really like the handling and having a  :) baby in the back (in addition to the two snots/oops I mean daughters) really tightens the screws.

Birdie...winter of 93-94...going SLOW (yep, I'm one of those annoying 5 mph people) down the road...360!

white knuckle fever

The sick, funny, ironic [puke] thing is, since Birdie posted this 1 1/2 weeks ago....IT'S SUPPOSED TO SNOW AGAIN TONIGHT....NOT MUCH...JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE IT SLIPPERY AND CLEAN THE *&^*((*&%$#$ CAR IN THE A.M.!!!

Patti...who's in Articville (for those of you in C A L I F., that means waaaaayyyy below  32' FARENHEIT!!!!)
what's it gonna be..well, right now, 8:44pm est, its 26' accoring to WeatherBug).
Do y'all have the Weatherbug installed on your computer?

au revoir,

Patti

Ringo...you've always had a good sense of humor, but somehow I  thought you were staid, mellow, mature.

Boy, am I glad I was wrong!![/color]

If I'm remembering correctly, Barns portrait had been seen for more than 1 1/2 weeks...he doesn't look 'young'.

Nope...the cool thing about this board is 'variety is the spice of life'.

Actually, it's funny I think the character of Quentin is perfect...he's so, so, 'Collins-ish' (self-absorbed see Barnabas), coniving, (see ALL Collinses), has his own agenda and screw everyone who gets in his way!

Quentin=eye candy

(Naturally, Angelique HAD to become a Collins!!)

But, like most of the Collinses, Quentin genuinely cares for David/Jamison....not in what would call a healthy way, but hey, we're talking
C O L L I N S!!

Just now, I came in here (DS), went to send Midnite :D an e-mail....said I needed to go online to send email; clicked ok...then, Im' back at the "Registration is Closed" screen???

They actually did soooooo much MORE than just Sat. Night Fever; they wrote for other artists (such as Islands in the Stream).

very, very sad.

Mr. Gibbs was an incredibly talented artist. :'(

Patti, do you know what software your boss used to rectify the problem he had? I had a dial up at one time and then got DSL.  When I moved, I found out that DSL was not supported in my area so I signed up with the cable company.  I have AOL 6 and cannot make AOL 8.0 work for me at all. I get into it and then when I try to read email, it tells gives me that dreaded WAOL error and then I'm kicked out.

I have a feeling there is some remanent on my system of the DSL business and that is conflicting with the software. I dunno. I'm by no means a genuis at any of this. Been really frustrating as I want to upgrade to 8.0 for a  few reasons.

Nancy
