Isn't Julia Duffy the blonde girl who was on one of Bob Newhart's shows and also the latter eps of Designing women?

As for Denise Nickerson, I guess she annoys some people but I really enjoyed her. She was certainly a more accomplished and reliable child actress than Smythe, rarely if ever blowing her lines or looking for the teleprompter. My biggest complaint would be that they more or less wasted the character of Amy and Nora in 1897 was little more than a throw-away. Basically they served the role of giving David someone to talk to.

I agree totally Dr. Lang; my first watch of 1795 (2 yrs ago), I sorta liked Sarah.
But this time....yeesh!! She got on my nerves...and not for nothin', but Sharon Smyth was pretty whiny.

Yeah,  :)Denise Nickerson's :) lines were just feed for David...but, who else would feed 'em?? ;D

Totally off topic, but, since there's people here from allll around the country....
You know how there's the preview channel (I guess though technically, it's the TV Guide Channel)?
Well, we have a couple/few of those (not to be confused with the PREVIEW channel).
One of ours though, channel 3 (which occassionally has the local programs & is video feed), usually, instead of having Debbie Matonapolis, Katie Wagner's talking you hear really good tunes.
In the veign (sp??) of "John Barleycorn Must Die";  "Inagodadavida", "Sitting on top of the World" (Creem's cover), etc.
First...do people who have a dish have preview/TV guide channels?
Second, does anyone else have a TV guide channel with really excellent tunes?
Ringo...you're a bon vivant...man about the globe...have you ever experienced this? Midnite, how 'bout you on the west coast? Birdie...how bout you up in CT?

Thanks,

Patti

PS...Ringo....they were playing this EXCELLENT Cream song...."I'm on the leeeffttt...but I'm leaning toward the right...." (do you know what song that is??)

Dan Curtis says:
You have to use logic. Just because there is a ghost or a monster involved, it can't become totally illogical, and if you do that
and they always do
you lose the audience completely. All realism and believability is gone

MSCryside (or a variation of that name, should be under "Cousins") has a VERY:) wonderful, extensive David Selby site....
I remember one clip (but I don't want to give stuff away) just when "Grant" sees a certain portrait ;)

Search under "cousins" for MsCryside, then there's a link to the site.

Carolyn ::) : Problem: spoiled, overindulged. Reason: Guilt from aforementioned mother (re: deserted by father). Helpful tips: Mom should "cut her off", thereby forcing her to get (and hide your ears kitten) a J O B, and living side-by-side with her fellow mankind, perhaps not being so manipulative.

IMHO ;D

I just sent MB an e-mail.
It told me I had 11 messages in my OUTbox (which I don't know where it is...don't they go away when I send them?)
So the pop-up window asked me do I want to go to my IM box (non-sequitar, non?) I clicked yes, but the only thing in any box is a message (which I'd already read but didn't want to disgard) from MB about the archives.

Did you MB, get my message?

How do I go clean out my outbox??? And what's the difference in outbox and IM box?

Thanks,
Patti

yeah, but at least it was what you see/what you get.

Nowadays, a "good guy", him, I wouldn't trust (if he were as clean-cut as Joe Haskell....any cousin to Eddie?  ;) ).

Current Talk '02 I / A Couple of Questions, Please
« on: June 23, 2002, 09:21:10 PM »
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Okay, first question...does anyone know approximately how old Jonathan Frid was during orig. run?

Next, what's the big deal with Alexandra Moltke?

(With the credits, why does it always finish with the big title/and Alexandra Moltke as Victoria?)

Was she famous during the series? I would've thought J. Frid would get more, as he had some stage work to his name....

Thanks,

Patti
