In alot of movies, I notice actors wearing what is presumably a wedding band on their right hand.

Glad this post is back up, I was going to look for it.  During the 4th of July good movies/marathons, I thought of this topic.

First, a specific ep of Twilight Zone (but of course, I can't now remember which one!!), which is approx. 5 yrs before DS; then, watching Jaws, which is approx. 4-5 yrs  after DS.

I think that they were both close, with the noticeable exception:

DS was a daily....grind/grind/grind, where as TZ was weekly (and had what about 12-20 wks off between seasons); Jaws was a large budget flick.

Interesting though, I always think special effects BEFORE CAD are soooo much better.

Okay, OT, but, Twilight Zone, so I thought I'd post here.

SciFi had a TW Marathon all day (today, 4th); while I was primarily watching Monk, I'd keep watching TW.

On two separate episodes, the dialogue said "Is that just alot of Kentucky wind.."

From the context, I infered it meant malarchi/b.s., etc.

In the early '60's was this a popular saying??

Never heard it before today, and I thought it quite weird that I heard it twice! (play either DS da-da-da-DAH!!! or Twilight Zone dadadadada in background, please!)

the ending always caused me to shiver; it was delightfully eerie and creepy.  You'd think it would show up on TV, but I've never seen it there in years and years.  Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.

Gerard, I saw it originally on TV, probably mid-70's. I too found it creepy & scary. But, production wise, I can see why it's confused with a made-for-tv movie.

I went to imdb now, to see if it listed when on tv (didn't), but here's a ?funny? quote:  "Director Jack Starrett claims he hired real life Satanists as cult-member extras. (more)"
