It's easy to forget, but Roger and David were only recent installations at Collinwood when the show began.

I'm trying to remember this oh...can someone refresh my memory... Darling Luciaphil

I've missed you

I'm trying to remember if Vicki had a secret....

(I hope the comment about Sheriff Paterson was facetious....)

Dave Woodward.....think
keeping Barn 'alive in daytime' plus, didn't he do something about Maggie?
Professor Stokes played it close to the vest, but not really 'secrets' of the magnitude we're discussing here.

PT Maggie...I don't believe any secrets.

The focus is on characters independent of the rest of the series who aren't referred to much afterwards.

Joeytrom...can you be more specific on this point?

I too had to go through a couple of complete watchings before I fully appreciated the 1966 stories; I was only used to Barnabas et al.

I enjoy the feel of everyone working to 'catch the bad guy'.

I wish** I could remember the live outdoor shot of the cactus....

Thanks Goober...I'm just not clear on one point.

You mentioned Netflix (which is a pay service); I believe the shows I mentioned are free online.

(Did you pay to watch Dick Van Dyke?)

Also, and perhaps MB or ClaudeNorth and Darrin can help....does viewing TV shows online 'use' alot of a computer's memory? Does it become permanently 'attached' to ones computer?

Thanks!!

During the recent Writer's strike, I kept hearing one of the chief complaints was that the writers weren't getting paid for show's being aired online. (Up until this point, I had never heard of show's being completely uploaded for viewing; I also found it peculiar that during this, certain shows were advertising to 'watch complete eps online'.)

Now I'm seeing more and more of the 'watch online' plugs; including shows which are 'off the air' (Charmed, Angel).

Does anyone know the logic of this? Will Buffy (oh how I miss Buffy) be on?

And here's the $64,000 question.....is it possible (I don't say plausible) that Dark Shadows could be viewed in it's entirety online? (What about other shows which have been off a loooong time, eg Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy?)

Thanks,

Patti

I rather like the idea of Jamison (Liz & Roger's father) being her father.  Victoria by virture of her birth is an heir to the Collins fortunes.

Miss Wintrop, were this true, Victoria wouldn't have lived long:

a) because of Roger
b) because of the curse placed on anyone Barnabas loves would die

Earlier mentioned, parentage cleared up at her wedding:

I can picture Roger mentioning to Victoria if she were kin of any kind; I love his behavior during these scenes!

Wow!!! Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward fans of DS?

I cannot believe that a letter from them would've been 'filed in the circular file'.

Does anyone know where something precious as this might be?

Thanks for the info David!

...hey...uh, wasn't his last trip on the Queen Mary?

(Patti, who doesn't look good in green)

(For newerish cousins, it's definitely worth a perusal on the search CE/A for the above mentioned trip.)
