I was coming on to ask a Windows question (sorry MB).

I see the commercials for Windows 8;  when we just bought our new computer @ Christmas, it had the 'new' Win 7.

When I went to C-Net (thansk MB) :

If you have XP or lower, then you will NEED to upgrade to Microsoft 8......BUT...it will be THE ONLY MORE/ADDITIONAL update on your Microsoft.

But for me (and other Microsoft 7 users), they want you to upgrade to Microsoft 9!!!!

I didn't finish reading the tech aspects of the article...will something like this be free to me? And, in this day & age, do I 'back up' my Microsoft 7 and EVERYTHING ELSE ON MY COMPUTER INCLUDING MICROSFT OFFICE WHICH I HAD TO PAY ADD'L $120 FOR on zipdrives?

This memorial home was within walking distance of where I lived and worked for last 15 year in NJ.....aaaahhhhh. Unfortunately, I have been there a few times....The Rossmoor was a very large group of 'retirement' facilities, all within 5 miles of each other.

I received my new, not-previously viewed! DS movies.

On the shrinkwrap, there's a sticker which states something about viewing it 'in the cloud(s)'.

My daughter said if I took the sticker off (nonono, not ready to TOUCH yet alone open yet!) the sticker, there would be a code (side note, my other daughter said I'd scan, I guess that new scanner-y thing most smart-phones have) and I could watch DS movie.....?

On-line??? or something.

I realize 'in the cloud(s)'  is a data-saving measure.
If I put in the code, could I watch my (again, unused, not opened, brand spankin' new!!) movie?
Second question....where exactly do I enter my code on-line?

Third, I have my traditional PC in my bedroom, my daughters now each have a laptop, which are all hooked into our home ISP. Would they be able to watch? (In other words, is the cloud thing ISP based or hardwared based?)

I just got an E-mail that my 3 DS movies have FINALLY shipped!!  Whoo!!!!

I was looking at current statistics for The Board.

I see that very recently (Sept. 16) there was a new 'Most Members On"; it reached 171.
