I suppose because I have the Netflix app on my phone, that's the reason why they frequently send me messages about what's happening on the service. And, well, today they updated me on DS 2012. Apparently, not only is it available, which we already knew, but it's #6 in today's TOP 10 Movies:

A good reason why the film may be doing so well on Netflix could be because they're definitely promoting it. A short while ago I received an e-mail with this graphic:

I'm kind of surprised no Eva Green bedding set.  For me though, it's hard to believe it's been 10 years since Dark Shadows was released .. Wow.

Something interesting has been going on. The success of the Wednesday series on Netflix has caused some to revisit/visit the Depp/DS film. I just read online that the film "has been surging on iTunes this weekend."

Well, as I said the other day in the Wednesday topic, there are definite similarities between the two...
