I've never seen this review from India of the film:

Nothing dark about 'Dark Shadows'! (IANS Movie Review)

And it's quite funny that I would suddenly receive a link to it all these years later...

Until I just checked out a link to it, I had no idea that Spotify has a version of the film's soundtrack that has songs that aren't included on the CD:

Even Thomas McDonell is included, which is odd because nothing he shot made it into the film. So, unless someone followed the casting process and/or the shooting of the film, they wouldn't be too likely to know he had the part...

She's got some talent!

However, something about the one in the middle of the 4th row (heads of Barnabas and Julia) makes me see Jodie Foster instead of Helena Bonham Carter. (Hmm... I wonder what she would have been like in that role?)

I can't say I've ever noticed. I'll definitely have to pay attention the next time I watch the film (which may be in October during one of the Freeform showings).

I'm sure I wouldn't notice something like that, but I don't like them listing it under "comedy movies."  While there WERE humorous aspects, as a whole it certainly wasn't a comedy.
