This is one time I don’t mind seeing a repeat of yesterday’s closing scene. Creepy!
Julia: “Barnabas, I hope you know what you’re doing.”
Well, of all the scenarios I imagined, none of them included Barnabas letting David go. Henesy is on point displaying David’s relief at being let go. It seems pretty obvious how Barn’s gonna let this play out. I’m guessing he will move the coffin and make David look foolish again, though it doesn’t look like he is moving in that direction just sitting there in his chair grinning like the cat that just swallowed the canary.
Grayson’s green outfit and green scarf look so deliciously rich on the Old House set. Must be the lighting and the Old House color scheme.
On the VHS version the next scene with Burke and Dr. Woodard seems to be missing time in the beginning as it starts rather abruptly in what appears to be mid-sentence. Great scene content – Woodard gets Burke to admit his suspicions about Barn being the maniac! And then David comes running in telling all he’s just seen at the Old House! Then!, Julia comes in and bursts David’s bubble. David wasted no time blabbing, lol. I’m lovin’ Henesy right now.
I really thought the whole troupe was going to march down to the Old House. I did like Roger’s incredulousness directed at Burke and Woodard, and Barnabas’ as well. For a split second I thought I might be wrong about Barn hiding the coffin.
You had to love the scene that looked as though Barn was leading Burke and Woodard to slaughter. Woodard’s look back before descending into the basement was priceless. A. George just had to touch that brick wall didn’t he?
Again, Grayson does the closing production call.
