You summed it up nicely.
The opening voice-over is one of my faves. And I guess since Roger's been away, Carolyn's somewhat creepy obsession with him is okay. A lot of great dialogue and scenery chewing. The drama is high. Edmonds is having a field day. We get a good look at Roger and Liz's relationship. They don't appear to respect each other much. I'm perplexed about Liz. I can't tell if she believes what she is saying or if she's an optimist, or if she terribly misjudges every situation. She puts up a good front but gives in a lot and is usually wrong about stuff. Not the image of Liz I've built up in my head. It's only episode 4 tho. We learn Roger's life hasn't been a picnic and no one likes his wife. David still hasn't been complimented and I'm pretty much expecting satan when we meet him. Vicki's getting fed up. We can't blame her. Alexandra is playing the part well. The whole household is in turmoil. Everyone has an adversary.
Crying in the night. I'm not thinking Liz, or Ghost, I'm thinking Clarice Blackburn, lol. Satan shows up and he is David. As stated above, Victoria's had a very rough day.
