I wouldn't be able to keep up without the New Posts Search feature (what a life saver!). But I do manage to read everything (while the dust and the dishes pile up around me, lol). What I have trouble with is making the time to start new topics. If I have something I want to discuss I usually have to wait until someone else starts the topic or brings it up in a current thread.

Maybe Rosemary meant passionate?

I just hope she is not a current forum member or guest with hurt feelings...one never knows.

Yes,  that was my understanding. Sandor was trying to forge a copy when Barney caught him. So, presumably Barney had the original. Then he had Magda predict where it could be found.

Thanks for clearing that up, kuanyin.:) Now I feel horrible (not to mention stupid ;D) for misleading Cassandra in a post above, (sorry Cassandra! :'(). I thought Barn had Sandor forge the will to favor Judith. I have to say that I am shocked that granny would cut off the boys completely. I guess Judith's sense of duty convinced the old lady that she would best serve the interests of the family and Collinwood.

I have at least four pics of The Q-man
around the house

ONLY FOUR!?! ;)

Sorry to be nosey, BUT...which ones? All in character as Quentin? Any of Selby as Selby? Any of him as he is now? I think he's more gorgeous than ever.

dom

PS - Personaly (from a fan's humble point of view), I consider David Selby the consummate DS festival star.

I thought today's first scene in the tower room between Ange & Barn was flawless. Frid was marvelous and didn't miss a beat. This is  my new favorite Barn & Ange scene in the series.

You'd think he'd at  least have gone back far enough to prevent his mother's suicide.

Thank you all so very much for your show of support. (It sure beats hate-mail, LOL!) It's great to be a member of this forum and hanging out with a great bunch of folks. And an honor to be able to become a part of a great team doing good things to help keep our beloved Dark Shadows alive and kicking.

And a big ol' thank you to the talented Castlebee for indulging me in my moderating fantasy! (And they said it wouldn't go to my head, hah! :)) I was floored when I clicked on your link to GLOBALMODERATOR.com.

http://www.geocities.com/castlebeetoo/GlobalMod.htm

How clever! How funny!! And how sweet!!! I'm sending you five, Get Out Of Moderator Jail Free, forum cards. No really, I was genuinely touched by your efforts. I printed out the page and have it posted on the wall next to my computer to keep me grounded (and to remind my hubby that he is married to royalty, lol). I've ordered the purple cape, sceptor, and assorted crowns. I'll be wearing them at the fest so everyone will know who I am (I hate wearing name tags). ;)

Again, thanks all,

Is it me or did anyone else notice how different Quentin looked in today's second episode? He looked 100 times more luscious than usual. I am thinking that maybe his hair was more greased and less fluffy or something like that. He just looked real different to me. Even thinner. More like the Quentin of my memory.

I thought today's shows were knockouts (regardless of the uneven writing)!

PS - Anne? How many pictures of the Q-man do you have hidden around the house? Do tell. ;)

Hi Marsha,

The ghost in that part of Leviathan was supposed to be Paul Stoddard.  They had to change it because Dennis Patrick suddenly had to do a film shoot before his DS storyline had wound up.

Thanks, doll face. I love this "back-story" stuff. I wish they would have been a little more clever and still have had the ghost remain faceless and carry out his deed without dialogue. They could have had him leave something behind that would have let those involved (and the fans) know that is was Paul. Oh well.

And I think that any crazy person could probably come up with at least one or two good reasons to burn Edward, whether they had been married to him or not!

Heh, heh, heh, heh. Good one.

I think he was having "grave" misgivings about his "undertaking" since Grandmamama began making pesky trouble for him!

You suppose the will that Judith found in the family album is the original? That would make sense considering Quentin's reaction. I guess he thinks Granny put the will in the book herself.

Good questions, MM. I've been wondering the same thing especially about the Edward/Jenny angle. I am looking forward to the answers to your queries. I'd also like to know why no one (especially Quentin) hasn't questioned why their dear cousin from England doesn't have an British accent.
