We get a new set: the Old House servant's entrance.
This episode's events progressed as one might expect. Trask is more convinced than ever that Vicki is a witch and that she is part of a coven, reason being she had help escaping. This in turn convinces Joshua to give Trask free reign. And the hunt is on. As per...Ange gets wind of things and turns them to her benefit, and the misfortune of others. I don't remember anything too unreasonable happening. The one unfortunate thing is as usually happens -- Vicki reacts with half-measures of credulity. She really should have thought to take the food and close the window.
The scene of Trask questioning Angelique was pretty suspenseful. You had to wonder if he was going to find her out. I agree, DarkLady, Lara parker had her day in the sun with a totally uninhibited performance of 'spiritual wakening'. All her scenes were superb. Funny that Trask couldn't pull out Angelique's name being it starts with 'angel'. I was always taught that any prophetic gift comes from the devil. Trask believing Angelique's vision is from the Almighty is so very convenient. She did real good to give him (Trask) the credit for her rebirth.
This is a decent episode. My favorite moment is witnessing the proud look on Joshua's face as he looked over the foyer with Trask. And for whatever reason, I was so satisfied to learn, as DarkLady noted, that Collinwood is a 15 minute walk from the Old House, lol.
