Two ads that I hadn't shared that also only feature one element of the B Poster:

The above theater was located in Scotia, NY and as with the other NY theaters, NoDS may or may not have opened on October 13th.

And a reminder:

...

(And just as an aside regarding the Boro and Quonset Drive-ins, I've always assumed that they must have been owned by the same person or company because they always advertised as one entity despite the fact that the Boro Drive-in was located in Attleboro, MA and the Quonset Drive-in was located in North Kingstown, RI, cities not just in two different states but more than 35 miles apart...)

Revisiting how the beginning of Scene 113 is scripted:

Beginning Scene 113, picking up from Scene 112:

113    EXT - COLLINWOOD - DAY                           113

       They walk TOWARD THE CAMERA.

And that's when the first part of today's first quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Alex: 'That's what I'm going to try to find out.'

- comes up, followed by the script continuing with:

He picks up his bike and then, looking up at the
    Tower Room,

And that's when the second part of today's first quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Alex: 'Tracy...have you ever been in that room?'

- comes up, followed by today's second quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Tracy: 'No. Why?'

- coming up.

And so far as any possible differences in the dialogue, the directions, and the descriptions go, we'll probably never know because this scene doesn't appear in any version of the film. And there aren't any notations in DC's script for this scene.

[pointing-up] And so far as "today's" quotes go, they are indeed today's. February 5th's, this time around.

Revisiting more of how Scene 113 is scripted:

Continuing with Scene 113, beginning with today's first quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Alex: 'Because I think some of our answers are there.'

- coming up, followed by today's second quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Tracy: 'How could that be?'

- coming up.

And so far as any possible differences in the dialogue, the directions, and the descriptions go, we'll probably never know because this scene doesn't appear in any version of the film.

[pointing-up]  And when it comes to "today's" quotes, they are indeed today's, February 6th's, this time around.

And now three other ads that are also included in the NoDS Pressbook but aren't based on either poster because they consist of the NoDS logo with two also introducing a new image, part of which includes a slightly different take on part of the branch featured in the A Poster:

Revisiting a last batch of ads that I'd previously shared:

First up, an ad that simply incorporates AD MAT NO. 101 -

...

And as for why I'm sharing the second ad, it's only because it just might be the most boring ad for the NoDS/hoDS double bill -

- and lest you think those aren't also in each film's respective pressbook, they are - though I haven't bothered to scan them and put them together to prove it.  [ghost_nowink]

...

- and an ad that seems to have reworked AD MAT NO. 120 -

...

...

There are some ads simply featuring the use of the AD MATs in that last batch, but most are just so small that they're not even worth scanning/sharing. However, be that as it may, there's still more to come with regards to NoDS Pressbook material...

More to come...

Revisiting more of how Scene 113 is scripted:

Continuing with Scene 113, beginning with today's first quote: Alex' reply to Tracy asking how can some of the answers they're looking for be in the Tower Room -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Alex: 'I don't know...think you could get in there?'

- coming up, followed by today's second quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Tracy: 'He keeps it locked and I'd rather not try.'

- coming up.

And so far as any possible differences in the dialogue, the directions, and the descriptions go, we'll probably never know because blah, blah, blah.

[pointing-up]  And as far as "today's" quotes go, they are indeed today's, February 7th's, this time around.

What I'm about to post isn't what I was referring to when I said there would be more NoDS Pressbook material to come. And actually it was almost a case that I wasn't going to be able to share what it is because I didn't come across it online until yesterday when I decided to do another search to see if anyone had actually included it in one of their posts about the pressbook or their listings to sell a copy of pressbook. Lo and behold someone actually had included it in their listing on eBay and the Worth Point Web site had archived it. The extremely odd thing is that there are at least two different sites online that have scanned and shared almost all of the pressbook, all that is but the first page inside. Why not that page, who knows?  [idontknow]  And you can be asking yourself, "Well, why couldn't you just scan your coy of the page?" Well, why I couldn't scan that particular part of the page will be cleared up at some point down the line (though interestingly enough I have scanned and shared Grayson's HOW TO BE MARRIED AND HORRIFIC article and its accompanying still, both of which appear on that same page)...

But for now, here's what I want to share, not necessarily for the credits, which are interesting, given how Grayson Hall, Lara Parker and Kate Jackson's billing is arranged in the CAST section, but for the fact that the element of the hanging woman and the man kneeling before her from the B Poster is a part of it:

(Click here for a 377X1241 version)

It's quite unfortunate that Clarice Blackburn's name is misspelled.  [snow_rolleyes]

And even though there's more to deal with when it comes to the NoDS Pressbook, we're going to take a break from that subject to delve into on of the foreign posters. And the reasons why we're doing that, and particularly why we're picking the one that we have will become quite apparent before too long.

So without any further ado, let's revisit the Italian NoDS Poster:

I have shared the One Sheet of the Italian Poster -

(Click here for a 1152X1600 version)

...

Having completely forgotten when NoDS opened in Italy, I asked Google, and it indicated that the film opened there on December 23, 1971. Now, that might be quite right or it might not. And the reason I say it might not be because to check the legitimacy of the Italy answer I then asked Google when NoDS opened in the US and it came back with August 13th, but we all know that is not the case because the film opened in the US on August 4th. But at least those dates are in the same month. I then fashioned the question in a few different ways just to see if I would get different answers, and when it came to one, boy, did I get a different answer because it said NoDS opened in the US in February of 1971. Huh?! God only knows where/how Google's AI got that idea?! But it just goes to show you that AI can be far from accurate!! So perhaps it's best to take answers AI provides with a huge grain of salt...

Revisiting the wrap up of how Scene 113 is scripted and moving beyond to how Scene 114 is scripted -

... first with Alex' scripted reaction to Tracy saying she'd rather not try to get into the Tower room:

He thinks for a moment longer.

And that's when the first part of today's quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Alex: 'OK...forget it.'

- comes up, followed by the script continuing with:

He climbs onto his bike and gives her a kiss on the
cheek and as he is about to peddle away:

And that's when the second part of today's quote -

Page 53/Scene 113 - Alex: 'Tracy, I want you to be careful.'

- comes up, followed in the script by:

113    CONTD                                    CONTD   113

       She looks at him questioningly.

And that's when the third part of today's quote -

Page 54/Scene 113 - Alex (Contd): 'Just be careful...keep an eye on him and if anything else happens, call me.'

- comes up, followed in the script by:

114    He EXITS THE SHOT.  CAMERA TRUCKS IN ON TRACY.  Then
as she crosses out toward the house, RACK FOCUS TO
       CARLOTTA at the stairwell window.

End of sequence.

And so far as any possible differences in the dialogue, the directions, and the descriptions go, we'll probably never know because these scenes don't appear blah, blah, blah. And that's really too bad because I can just imagine the expression on Carlotta's face.

However, beginning with tomorrow's quote, the slideshow will be getting back into material that actually does appear in the film...

[pointing-up]  And so far as "today's" quote goes, it is indeed today's, February 8th's, this time around.

Getting back to the Italian Posters, obviously the image of Angelique in them is based on Still #39 from the NoDS Editor's Portfolio:

Though as we'll see, they're hardly the only posters that base an image of Angelique on that still. And whoever the artist was who drew Angelique for the Italian posters did an exceptional job of capturing her.

And obviously the Italian Posters display a different take when it comes to the hanging woman and the man kneeling before her from the US' B Poster-

- a take that will become quite significant before too long. But more on that down the line...

And before we leave the the Italian Posters, I'd like to share this -

- and trust me, there's a lot more to it than simply seeing the comparison side by side in B&W. Think of it as a preview of coming attractions...
