Q is for Queen Victoria....
to whom Carl claims Pansy did her singing/mentalist act for.
(Just a sidenote: it's been mentioned already that a different person should do the next letter....it would be much appreciated).

Actually:
Repeating a turn if a lot of time has passed without anyone replying doesn't seem all that problematic, but I think it's important that no one dominates the game.

T is for testimony, whether it be plain perjurous (Nathan) or  out of pure spite (Samantha)....or both (in Angelique's case).

I'm sorry if I took too many turns at once.  [7385] I didn't start reading this thread until just before I took my first turn - which wasn't until Sunday, 3/18/07.  [shkdg] I think I read about the first 20 or 30 pages or so, but I decided to quit reading because it was so time consuming -- especially since I noticed the posts about what words were used before.  I guess I passed over (or maybe forgot) the post about not taking 2 turns in a row.  But, since I started playing the game late, I've only taken 9 turns, so far.  I'm sure many people here took a lot more turns than I did!  I took 3 turns in a row last time, because I really wanted to contribute P is for psychedelic , and I figured I would miss it if I didn't do it myself right away.  I will only take 1 turn at a time in the future, unless lots of time has passed since the last one. No problem, Emerald Rose, and thank you! [knockwood]

Now I'll take my own advice and let someone else do the next letter....which is U.

V is for Vex

- to bring trouble, distress, or agitation to
- to bring physical distress to
- to irritate or annoy by petty provocations
- puzzle, baffle
- to shake or toss about

Is there a character who didn't vex and/or wasn't vexed in one way or another  :)

Z is for zax, likely one of the tools Willie used when he was fixing up the Old House.

IluvBarnabas, I love zax.

A is for Atmospheric conditions, which, as Daniel told Trask, were the cause of thunder and lightning according to Vicky.
