V is for valuables - what Paul Stoddard packed in his suitcase (Carolyn's inheritance) when Elizabeth confronted and "killed" him in 1949.

X  is for Xenium a present given to a visitor. Barnabas gave Maggie the Music Box then took it away. Even a bigger streach Liz gave Barnabas the Old House,

Y is for Yar: (of a ship) quick to the helm; easily handled or maneuvered.  As in the Philadelphia Story:  "My, she was yar!"  Angelique wasn't yar.

Z is for the Zits on the kids.

A is for Avarice - Greed, insatiable desire for wealth.  Jason McGuire's avarice caused him to be murdered by Barnabas - and before that, Willie's avarice caused him to be bitten by Barnabas.
