S is for Siblings, there was fighting between them all. Usually for money and power.

T is for tearjerkers like [spoiler]the deaths of Sarah and Naomi definitely were, and for some people Angelique's death was one too (sorry to say I am not one of those people).[/spoiler]

U is for unsubstantial
[spoiler]When Barnabas said that he loved Angelique, he shouldn't have said it at all. NEVER! The last time Julia shouldn't have heard it. I don't think that he ment it. there was no basis for it. [/spoiler]

W is for widower, which is what Sam Evans was.

x is for xerostomia dryness of the mouth caused by diminished function of the salivary glands due to aging, disease, drug reaction, etc. this would have happened when Julia turned Barn old with the vaccine.

Y is for yarn - a colloquial term for a story or tale.  Dark Shadows certainly was one of those - or should I say many!
