R is for raconteur - a clever storyteller; a narrator.  Barnabas was a raconteur when he told the story of Josette's death to Vicki and Carolyn on that stormy night.  Also, the voiceovers were a type of narration - Alexandra Moltke was the raconteur (narrator) more than anyone else.
