R is for recasts, none of which went over very well with the viewers, the exception being the character of Willie Loomis from James Hall to John Karlen.

X is for Xerxes, of which the name Cyrus seems to be a variation.  Rumor has it (and if hasn't, I'm volunteering to start it) that Cyrus Longworth's little kindergarten playmates used to taunt him by calling him Xerxes, and that it never failed to make him burst into tears.
