G is for the garage at Collinwood, where the wrenches are kept handy.

H is for Human - what "normal people" are, when they aren't supernatural creatures. Barnabas just wanted to be human; he hated being a vampire.

I is for Implore - In Dark Shadows Episode #404, Barnabas spoke to Josette on the terrace. This is what he said: "I implore you to leave Collinwood before it is too late. Even now the witch is watching and plotting your death."

J is for the Jekyll-and-Hyde story in 1970 parallel time.

K is for King of Queens - a CBS comedy series which originally aired from 1998-2007.  An episode entitled, "Cowardly Lyin'", which originally aired on March 31, 2003, had a subplot about a supporting character named Spence, who wanted to go to a Dark Shadows Convention, but his girlfriend didn't want him to go.

Although I didn't watch this series much during its original run, this episode was shown during at least two Dark Shadows Conventions which I attended. (Real conventions, of course!) It was very funny, and I was thrilled that Dark Shadows was mentioned on a current TV show. Even though some of the facts were wrong, I still enjoyed it. I believe it was known throughout the series that  "Spence"  was a DS fan.

L is for the Lurking - Lots of Lurking, in fact - done by various characters at various times.

M is for The Mod Squad  - an ABC TV show which originally aired from 1968-1973. Dennis Patrick guest-starred in 2 episodes, in 1970 and 1972; John Karlen guest-starred in 2 episodes in 1972, and played Marty in Return of the Mod Squad, an ABC TV movie which originally aired in 1979.  Also, Roy Thinnes (Roger in the 1991 NBC DS revival series) played Dan in Return of the Mod Squad.

I loved The Mod Squad!  It was a hip, groovy show. I especially loved Michael Cole, who played Pete Cochran.

O is for "Ockham's Razor"-- the Crossing Jordan episode that introduced viewers to Michael T. Weiss' character.  

N is for Night Court - a TV series which originally aired on NBC from 1984-1992. Florence Stanley (Sobbing Woman/Sobbing Josette) guest-starred in 2 episodes of Night Court in 1987 and 1989. Also, Kelly Hu (Julia in the 2004 DS pilot) guest-starred in 2 episodes of Night Court in 1988.

P is for Peter Murphy, who replaced Daniel Keyes as the caretaker.

Q is for "Quartet for a Blunt Instrument," John Karlen's ep in the final season of Mannix.

R is for Rawhide - a western TV show which originally aired on CBS from 1959-1966.  Diana Millay (Laura) guest-starred in 2 episodes in 1962 and 1963.

T is for Roy Thinnes (Roger & Rev. Trask).

U is for Unknown - a movie which was released on November 3, 2006.  David Selby played Police Captain Parker in Unknown.
