The management of this board should be commended for having such a cordial welcoming and steering committee.  I found the chat board while researching for links for my own DS fansite I'm creating (because dang it, we need a zillion and ONE of them), and before I knew it, ProfStokes was encouraging me to join this board.  Both the Prof and EmeraldRose were so nice and chatty with me...hardly a small thing because I was asking questions right and left!   ;D

Looking forward to exchanging info, memories, and quips about this glorious TV show that I'm still addicted to.  (Yeah, spank my patty, Daddy, I ended the sentence with a preposition.  Heh!)

I checked out the video and audio clips from your site, Penny...silly stuff, I love it!  You and your fellows are truly classic hams.  (BTW, that's a compliment.   :D )

I'd love to be a cable access host for B-grade movies.  What a great job.  The best we've managed on our local access, though, is 20-year-olds talking about politics.  You'd think we'd have something a little more fun out here in Southern California for local access.

Of course, the "slides" in between the shows keep advertising "help out as a tech volunteer, you'll learn cable access production techniques for free".  Maybe I should take that up.  Then I will affect a hostile takeover of local cable access...

Heh, heh.  I like the way you think.  :D  Local access programming in my corner of L.A. also reeks.

I fully understand reticence towards opening up boards and groups too much.  Like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

ProfStokes and I had a nice discussion about favorite plotlines, including the phoenix plotline - ProfStokes encouraged me to make a Wikipedia entry for the phoenix bird underneath the Movies And TV section to include the unusual humanized version of the legend that Laura Collins was.  That was kind of cool...THE POWER!!!   >:D

I finished listening to Segment 1 last night - you and your partners are most entertaining, and the show was funny and informative.
