YAYYYY Istvan!

Thanks Vlad!  I was trying to remember his name but kept blocking on it!

He was such a doll--nearly 7 foot tall, but still, a doll!

Thanks again,

Gothick

I knew he was a big guy, but I didn't know he was that big!

BTW, wasn't he also in "Boys in the Band"?   ;D

Also noteworthy is that he was probably one of the first African-American actors to appear on daytime television!

Well, [hello] all!  Just came back from my vacation in Southern Spain and what do I find?  A wonderful DS list to ponder.

No. 1 is certainly easy:  David Selby.  IMO no one even comes close in terms of handsomeness, charm, sexy voice, etc.  And one of you actually put this guy in last place?!  [shckd]  Yes, yes, I know it's all a matter of taste-

The following 2 to 10 is a little harder, but I'll try.

Tying for 2nd place:

James Storm (maybe it was those smoldering looks, tousled locks, pouting lips and that cute little suit he wore)

Humbert Allen Astredo (devilish but oh so classy!  His creepy grin finds its echo in Angelique's laugh)

3. Jonathan Frid (Can't leave out my favorite character, although I view him not as particularly sexy, but attractive in a more romantic, haunting sort of way)

4.  Jerry Lacy (never realized how handsome this gent was until I saw him in his pre-Trask role)

5.  Joel Crothers (handsome in an agreeable, bland sort of way)

6.  Roger Davis (ditto above)

The others on the list are not especially attractive to me, although I always enjoy John Karlen's and Chris Pennock's performances.

Yes, VAM, Andalusia was absolutely gorgeous with its mountains, olive and almond trees dotting the valleys below.  We were even treated to an authentic Andalusian dinner by a gracious Spanish lady who lived in the tiny village of Alfarnatejo (pop. 600).  I had some misgivings about Torremolinos where we stayed, but it was actually much nicer than I expected.  We were about a 10 minute walk from the Mediterranean, which drew me like a magnet every day.  Only disappointment was not being able to swim in it, but I did get my feet (and accidentally shoes and socks!) wet.  Loved those swaying palm trees and orange and lemon trees lining the streets of T-Town, which is completely colonized by expats from Scandinavia, Finland, Germany and England.  A little bizarre but fun!!!

We also made a day trip to Gibraltar where I had a close encounter with a thief who wasn't even human: a barbary monkey who stole my gold earring!  Cutest thief I ever did see-

All in all, I'd definitely say that my trip was a [smash].

;D
