Which catfights should have been on Dark Shadows?

  One thing I like about Dark Shadows was the slaps! But as Victoria once said, "You deserve a lot more than just a slap!" So who should have trashed the drawing room, or any other room, or perhaps the garden with the fountain---to get down DYNASTY-style!

One catfight that would have been great would be Victoria vs. Angelique. I know our Angelic-one had powers, but she wouldn't have time to cast any spells while Victoria was beating her with one of those pillows on the sofa. And I think that even Angelique would try and win a fight without resorting to magic, at least until she had a vase of flowers broken over her head.

By the same token, I also would have loved to have seen Julia vs. Angelique. Julia would have had a nice bouquet of long blonde hair before she could have even cast one spell!

Actually, out of everyone on the show, I think Grayson would have been the most likely to want to do a stunt like this. A Julia vs. Hoffman catfight would have been great, but too bad it would have to end the way it would! Can you imagine Julia and a stuntperson as Hoffman rolling around the floor of the coffin room, with Grayson trying hard not to pull the stunt person's red wig off?

The men were allowed to have fights every once in a while, but I wonder if the women would have gone through with this, or insisted on stunt-women to do the scenes? Does anyone else have a catfight they would have loved to have seen on DARK SHADOWS?

What a fun idea.. . sure Julia v Angelique. . . I think Julia in a pure physical fight would've literally wiped the floor with ole Angie.. .in any century.

How about Natalie DuPres v Joshua! or Abigail! haha!

Okay, this isn't really my scene, but I am imagining Carolyn and Vicki duking it out (over Burke)  in the rain on the estate, getting soaked and their clothes wet and glistening with mud.....

I loved it when [spoiler]Kitty as Josette went after Angelique in 1897 and started to strangle her. I would've loved to have seen an all out fur flying fight between them, no magic involved. I 'd be rooting for Kitty[/spoiler]

Oh definitely Julia and Angelique! I think Julia's sincere love for Barnabas would have won out over any spell Angelique might care to use. 

Abigail and Naomi, although Naomi was too intimidated by her, it still would have been fun to see them arguing over who was the real mistress at Collinwood.

Although there is a cool scene in 1795 when Naomi delivers a biting remark to Abigail, and I can't quote this exactly, but she says something to the effect of: "If the devil has blinded us all, why is it that he lets you in on all his secrets?"

I remember that the Kitty-Angelique scene was once shown at a DS Festival, and everyone cheered!  Let's face it, Josette should've bitch-slapped Angelique the moment she [spoiler]found out that Angelique was going to marry Barnabas.[/spoiler] Another catifght that should've been: Jenny vs. Laura, 1897- after all, [spoiler]Laura stole Quentin away from Jenny, leaving her alone, pregnant and at the "mercy" of Edward and Judith while going insane.  Remember, it was Laura (with Dirk) who set Jenny loose that final time, leading to Jenny's death and the werewolf curse.[/spoiler]

I'm surprised there wasn't one between Maggie and Carolyn after Joe had had enough of Carolyn's capricious behavior (especially where Burke was concerned) and found Maggie far more appealing.

I think one of the best catfights would have been a fight between Natalie Dupres and Abigail Collins in 1795. Rock 'em sock 'em!!

And for anyone who would like a funnier fight.....

How about we have a fight between two personas? Like Cassandra vs. Angelique or Miranda vs. Angelique or something along those lines! I can see it now:

SCENE

INT. COLLINWOOD - DRAWING ROOM - NIGHT

Cassandra stands, looking demented. She SLAPS herself across the face.

CASSANDRA: Angelique! I will not have you ruining my plans! Barnabas suspects that I am you anyway!

Suddenly, Cassadra's UGLY BLACK WIG FLIES OFF and Angelique's GOLDEN SUNSHINE HAIR is revealed. She SLAPS herself on the other side of the face!

ANGELIQUE: Back up hussy! That's my man!

Whoops, no more scenes, please.

I think it would have been great fun to see Cassandra & Julia re-enact the wig snatching scene from Valley of the Dolls!

Julia grabs Cassandra's black wig, revealing Angelique's golden curls:

Just a few possibilities.

From 1897 storyline:  Angelique vs Laura (truly a battle of the supervixens).

1841 PT:  Catherine v. Daphne ( sister squabble)

Sarah Collins vs. Hallie Stokes over David/Jamison...catfight of the spoiled brats!
