He dresses in whatever someone else gives him to wear and  he would get killed if he ever did go to public school.  Yep David is a nerd.

That's funny, he and I are close to the same age and I remember every boy in school looking just like him! Though I WAS in the midwest, at that time styles didn't sweep the nation in less than a month.

I just loved it! I'm really enjoying getting a chance to see some of John Karlen's version of Willie without the Barney bite influence. It's great how he flows from the schoolyard bully to toady without missing a beat. If only he had been hired from the beginning..... :'(

I understand that he earned a prestigious stage award, and I've tried to reconcile that fact with his work on DS.  The only explanation I've come up with is that he condescended to the DS material.

There IS another explanation. Could it be that prestigious awards can sometimes be overated? Perhaps everyone was mad at another performer (ala Russell Crowe this year) or the other performances cancelled out votes?

Ummmm, I don't remember either. I don't think I was watching at the time. I was rather fickle. I do remember Daphne and she was rather late in the series, so I'm really not sure.

Hmmm. I'm sure I will think of more when I post. I agree with you that the characters you named were only a stereotype, but at least they were TRYING to be cool. Vicky on the other hand seems to be imitating Elizabeth in her style. Frank Garner seemed pretty middle aged too. Though to be honest, I guess those who weren't stereotypical hippies then DID look middle aged.

Maybe they just had more practise at bloopers?  ::)

Well, they did a good job recapping and taking care of the threat toward Julia from Barney and Caroline. This one they rather just dropped with the absence and then return of David. However, with a child's attention span (or mine for that matter) and with the introduction of another frightening character, I think this isn't all that big a blunder.

Quentin when he arrives IS really frightening. But the worst that I remember is

SPOILER...

when Alexis goes to Angelique's casket and Angie opens her eyes. Ewwww!!! Shiver, shiver.

Ok, who is your MOST irritating DS character? [hdscrt]

For me, I have say that Burke Devlin #2, Amanda Harris, Dr. Lang and EVEN Jeb Hawkes get ruled out even though they are mighty contenders.

My #1 most irritating character? You guessed it, ADAM! [madan]

Since I am of the female persuasion, this is a toughie. Keep in mind that in real life I have had an almost exact copy of Grayson's current do. (Didn't go over very well, I am currently brunette and a little longer).

I am going to say -----  Daphne! It is tough, really it is. I love Caroline's and Angie's too. I think Vicky's is pretty, but I don't want it. Same with Maggie.
