Now to get down to the nitty gritty, just who dressed Adam? Who saw all that Adam might have to offer Miss Winters. . ?? or some other **deserving** female?
As I've been watching recent episodes, I've seen several things happen to complicate the progression of the Dream Curse, things that I think could have been avoided, and to make me wonder about just how this spell works. Does Cassandra have control over the order that the dream takes?
I know that she was able to first direct it to Maggie, and that the final dreamer in the sequence er) This way, Cassandra had to cast a second spell to free David and give him amnesia (and it seems to me that it would have been much easier to have done that in the first place) so that he could be able to later hear and repeat the dream. Now two days have passed, David doesn't remember any of his strange behavior during that time, but everyone around him is aware of it. Surely somebody has got to recognize that something strange is happening to him. That represents a risk to Cassandra. If she had the power to send the dream to whomever she chose, I think it would have been easier not to include David. However, if the dream has a life of its own and David has got to follow Mrs. Johnson no matter what, then I can understand why Cassandra would have to go to the extra trouble.
Furthermore, how could Cassandra have been certain that Dr. Lang had told Julia his dream before she began 'needling' him in her voodoo spell? Suppose he hadn't mentioned it by the time Cassandra killed him? Wouldn't that have complicated her spell? (A similar situation occurs later on and she does get around it, but still...)

This is my 4th time seeing the series but only the 1st time it has hit me that Jerry Lacy is kinda hot. I wonder why I never noticed that before?

I just have to share the perhaps unwelcome observation that Dr. Julia Hoffman's Dream Curse sequence may be one of the most brilliant bits of videotape in the history of American television.
I have also seen the fan version but the original is SO much better. My two favorite moments are when Mrs. Johnson is silently beckoning Julia to the door and Julia is hysterically asking her, "Why are you doing this to me???" and it looks as if Mrs. J is about to grab Julia's breast! I can imagine "Sister Wendy"'s comment on that! "The religouth thignificanth of Dr Julia Hoffman's BREATHT" THEN the climactic scream as the Death Bride is revealed is so transfigurative, transcendental and, well, just a HOOT to witness.
I really wish there was video of Grayson and Clarice discussing that scene after taping. I'm sure both ladies had some hilarious comments to make about shooting it!
As far as I am concerned, moments like this are DS at its most inspired. I know others do not agree, but I had to just TELL THE DREAM. Now I can rest ...

WOW how sad!! You all have such sad dreams!!!I've never had a recurring nightmare or dream. I don't sleep enough 2 dream, I think, lol! Although when I saw Halloween I was afraid of Michael Meyers for the first few.....ummmm *cough* years......LOL I still am. That and Rosemary's Baby just seemed 2 really really freak me out.
It was far more frightening in Well put everyone! And, DarkShadows, how sad for your brother that you got all the imagination in the family. I think you should get a few DS T-shirts, one of those big latte cups, a Barnabas ring, and a few other assorted pieces of memorabilia to prominently wear or display around your house. Drive him up the wall!
