Hehe, I am everywhere ;)

Seriously though, it's not Grayson Hall's fault that Mostoller felt it necessary to dress her in icky shaggy tweeds and some of the scariest blouses I have ever seen outside of AmVets.

Luciaphil

Lucia is right. .so when Julia wears a stunning little number like that grey suit last week . .I think the DS Wardrobe Mistress must've forgotten "Julia" was on that day and Grayson ran the 5 blocks to her apartment and pulled something out of the closet. . .

Current Talk '02 II / Drained of blood but still able to SPY??

Alright. . .on the two occassions Julia is attacked by a vampire. . once that vampire is destroyed she miraculously returns to health. . .now, if the poor girl's been drained of her blood. . shouldn't she still be a bit under the weather?  Doesn't she need time to make some "new" replacement blood?  Who else gets drained of blood and then jumps up and is ready to kick *ss once the vampire is destroyed?

Okay, what's with the gloves? Driving gloves? A fashion statement?
Dom

Grayson needed something to fidget with .. since she's now "good" she can't smoke on-screen anymore. . that's a "bad woman's" pasttime. . .

Always love your little tidbits Steve . . . yes I have noted on occassion that you could see signs of the osteoporosis even on DS . . . and I too was very surprised by how she skipped along the stage in Suicide. . .considering she'd just tossed away the cane from her broken hip episode.  Wow. . luv her!

Current Talk '02 II / Re: A Hard One - Best Actor(ess) on DS????

I don't think its ever too soon to discuss who is pulling you into this weird universe of DS-fandom. . someone's doing it. . so best acting chops--
male=Thayer David, John Karlen and David Selby.  I luv JF but he seemed to flub some really important scenes with my gal. . .

female=Nancy Barrett (hands downs), Lara Parker and my gal, Grayson.

Now as to Dan C being cheap. . i have read vintage articles where people talk openly, in some awe, about the number of quality fo the sets for DS and the production budget. . .let's not judge the show by today's out-of-this-world standards. . .judge it by its day and age. . .they DID have it pretty good. .
Where DC seemed to skimp was in the # of actors on per episode. . such as today . .GH had 2 weeks of Vampire Victim work and then she's cured and gone for an entire week. . .in today's soaps there would be lingering questions from folks about her weirdness, near death and miraculous recovery. . also her "stay" at the Old House and just **what** type of relationship did she and Barnabas have anyway?  I actually think that was more DC's attention-deficiet disorder rather than cheapdom. . .ahhhh the missing scenes. . .

The photos are also available on the JULIAlist for those interested. . its a nice place. . i used to live near it when I was a nanny. . .YES for those of you who've met me I was a nanny. . .anyway .. I do believe the house was named that prior to the Hall's occupancy. . .strangely ironic isn't it?

The picture of Barnabas carrying a very *stiff* Julia into the Old House makes me wonder .. . Was Grayson wearing  a corset?  Did she have a bad back, did she just like the fit of it or what?  I definitely, as director, would've told her to let her head drop back . ..she looked like she had a rod from her bum to her head.  .still luv her though. . .forgive me Oh Great Mother for criticizing. . .

Julia would have something solid, practical and unassuming nothing specific is coming to mind but I think it would be either an Oldsmobile or Ford sedan.

you guys don't get Julia. . .she would have a 4-drawer luxury car, I mean she IS a doctor. . .I think a Chrysler New Yorker or a Mercedes sedan .. . it would be dark blue or grey, understated yes but mindful of the fact that she's got BUCKS!! I refer you all to her chestload of jewelry, many matching coats, purses and gloves. . . she was into accessories. . .

I don't think you can count Julia. . she's a vampire's victim. . she hasn't started jonesin' for the red stuff herself yet. . just a bit shy about the daylight.   No worries. . though

So the total is 2-Angie and Tommy

Who knows maybe Jeff thought to himself.. . "I guess Barnabas likes to 'play' doctor". . .and she's just waitin' for him to get back so they can take up where they left off. . .He **is** trying to get over losing Vicki to me.. .

Tom Jennings is a generic vampire.

Barnabas is Brand Name.

Like Barnabas is Orbach's and Jennings is Wal-Mart

I think folks here are mistaken about the runway fashions availabe from Orbach's. . I do believe it would be comparable to today's Ross. . . I like the "hunky, hot Tom look" with an open shirt. . .easier access to skin for Julia too ..
