DOES HE HAVE BLEACHED BLONDE HAIR LIKE ON THE EPISODE OF THE T ZONE?

Don't know if it was bleached or not. It WAS blond. Most of the time it was wet!

and he never once touched his hair!

Then how did you know for sure it was him? Did he start screaming his lines for no apparent reason? ;D

Nope, the director must have reined him in  :D but I did recognize the voice before I recognized the hair.  ::)

While surfing cable TV this morning, I came across an old movie from 1964 "Ride the Wild Surf."  It was one of those old beach/surfing movies popular in the early 60s. Surely you other members of our "49ers" club remember these.  ;D

Anyway, this one starred Fabian, Tab Hunter, Shelley Fabares, Barbara Eden--and DS' own surfer dude, Roger Davis. He got to go through almost the whole movie wearing nothing but his swim trunks, and he never once touched his hair!   [crowdhappy]

"I wanna ride, ride, ride the wild surf."

That should be a wonderful experience, Julia99. I have the tape in French also, but it was a real treat to join Midnite at the LA Museum of Art last year to see the film in English, and finally know what she was saying.  Enjoy!

ADAM AT 6 A.M. tends to pop up on Channel 48 in Philadelphia, for those in the area.

BTW, is this film on home video?

Thanks!

John

It used to be. Don't know if it is currently in-print or not, but it pops up consistently on Ebay.

Thank you everyone for sticking with me thus far, and reading "Shadows on the Wall" for four years (and a nice round of applause to my fantastic cabal of writers, who are more than devoted, tireless, and talented to boot).  And I'd also like to take this opportunity to welcome Terry Bowers to the group.  Terry is a terrific writer (and a big fan of Julia Hoffman, I understand) ... look for her chapter in upcoming weeks.

Again, thanks everybody -- our entire team appreciates your support!

Hurray! Terry is indeed a wonderful writer, who's work can be found on the Grayson website. She has also been writing "fillers" for the JList for a while now, letting us know what's going on in between scenes, and  in the minds of the characters (mostly B and J), filling in what the DS writers left out.  She will be a great addition to the wonderful writers who are contributing to "Shadows on the Wall."

Many thanks to you, Nicky  :-* and to the other wonderful writers who continue to write chapters of "Shadows on the Wall."  [hello]

i mean why did Magda have to go?  She was such fun too. . i of course miss Julia but Magda. . whadda dame!  Makes you wonder what was happening in the writers room, eg. the bar down the street. . .

As for Magda disappearing, I think that was because Grayson was suddenly unavailable. Steve can tell us why probably. I think it was either that she left briefly to do one of her film roles, or it was the time  Sam's father became ill (and then passed away) in Ohio and they had to both leave the show briefly.

Great idea for a thread!

While he also is extremely powerful in his way, well loved (warts and all) and is utterly dependent on her. He's also had some dalliances with SYTs...does this sound familiar at all?  :D

Yup, that really does sound like Barnabas and Julia!

I've never watched the Osbourne show. Guess I'll have to give it a try. [coolbrows]

Does Sam say anything we haven't already heard in the interviews?  I'd appreciate hearing about it if so.

I haven't had a chance to listen to his interview yet, Steve. I will let you know if we learn anything new or if he has anything interesting to say, especially about our gal.  :D
