 (NOTE: Stokes and Julia are meeting for the first time and Stokes is inserting his monocle.)

S: Oh this?  All the better to see you with my dear!

Julia Hoffman: Why Proffessor, did your monocle pop out because I'm such a lovely sight to behold?

T.Elliot Stokes:  On the contrary Miss Hoffman.... I have a case of the hicups, and I was just about to have a slice of chedder cheese.

Stokes:  Yes indeed, you look remarkably like a certain portrait of my ancestor Ben Stokes's favorite mule.  An early portrait, painted before the mule went lame.  One the finest works of John Singleton Copley.
Julia:  And just how old is the prescription on that monocle?

Perhaps you'd wait a second while I pop this in, I can't do my impersonation of Mr. Peanut without it, or perhaps you'd like to see my Uncle Moneybags skit instead?

ES: "Ho-GAN!!!   I mean, Hoff-MAN!!!"
JH: "Does this mean you won't let Kinch out of the cooler-- I mean, Wyncliffe?"

Stokes: Let's see what the problem is.  Ah, I it's quite clear that you Shimmied when you should have coco poped. 

Julia: I hate to say I told you so, but I told you not to use super glue!

Stokes: Wow, you are such a looker! Hubba-hubba!

Julia: Really, Elliot!! (thinking) Finally SOMEONE appreciates me!

Julia: I see you use a monocle, is that your bad eye?

Stokes: Of course not, it's a chick magnet.

Stokes: Ahh, a very fine specimen indeed!

Julia: Thank you, professor, but I'd prefer it if you just told me I was pretty.
