Bizarre DS Fest Dream!

I had the wildest dream last night about the upcoming DS Fest.

I dreamed that one of the special guests was none other than Grayson Hall.  In the dream, she was still alive and in her eighties.  She was escorted into the Festival, where she greeted both Gothick and Julia99 with a hug and a peck on the cheek, and then thanked them for all they work they've done over the years to support and promote her career.  Then she took her place at a table and began signing autographs.  Oddly enough, very few people seemed interested in getting her autograph, and when I noticed that no one was waiting in line to meet her, I ran over to her table.  I was tempted to ask her about SATAN IN HIGH HEELS, but I was worried she would get angry, so I asked her about NIGHT OF THE IGUANA instead.  She talked about John Huston and was incredibly gracious and funny.  And that's where the dream ended.

When I first woke up, I remembered the details of what she said with a great deal of clarity.  I wish I had written it down because I've forgotten most of it, except that the topic of conversation was John Huston.

In spite of my inability to remember the details, I can say that it was one of the more vivid dreams I've ever had.

It sounds like a great dream to have Grayson at the fest.  She would be a hoot!

I've dreamt of her too on a number of occasions.  I can confirm that even on the Other Side, Grayson is still a sophisticated, somewhat tart-tongued, "gutsy broad" with extremely well-defined opinions!

Let's hope your dream bodes well for plans for Julia99's panel in honor of the Divine One.

I dreamed that one of the special guests was none other than Grayson Hall.  In the dream, she was still alive and in her eighties.  She was escorted into the Festival, where she greeted both Gothick and Julia99 with a hug and a peck on the cheek, and then thanked them for all they work they've done over the years to support and promote her career.  Then she took her place at a table and began signing autographs. 

....BUT, before she could sign a single one, Darren Gross whisked her out into a cab headed for the nearest sound studio, a well-worn script, a bottle of champagne, and a NODS Hi Definition Master Tape under his arms!

Wow...neat dreams guys and gals.

I may have mentioned this before, but what the hell...

I've had a couple dreams with Grayson in it, but only as Julia...she was always in her lab in the OH, but for some reason the lab was done up real nice, tons of neatly arranged equipment (maybe Barn. had pitched in for modern conveniences, or I was tapping into memories of her lab from HODS, I dunno - lol)...
In one of the dreams Julia turned to the person she was examining, flashed a hypodermic and said "sing your prettiest" (a minor quote from "Satin in High Heels" for those that don't know what I'm referring to) for some reason...

So what's the moral of this barely related story? J99, "sing your prettiest," ie. give it your all, at the proposed panel...we'll all be cheering for you.
