Oh that Inverness!

Been finishing up 1897 this week and I must say, I like the gray Inverness that Barnabas is now wearing!  It's MUCH nicer than that one he wears for most of 1897 (never really cared for that one actually, especially disliked the collar on that one).  I even like it better than his usual 1960's/70's blue Inverness.  It's the best one IMHO.  Wish he'd taken that back to 1970 w/him.   :-[ 

P.S. I also like the suit he wears at the end (he wears only one from the time he returns to the end when he [spoiler]goes after Kitty in 1796[/spoiler]

Yeah, Barnabas got some good duds near the end of 1897.  I especially like his grey-green cravat and that grey suit he wore.  Heck, nearly everyone had good clothes in this time period (Judith, Kitty, Edward, Quentin, Tim, Aristede, etc.).

Some of my favorite costumes on the show are from the 1897 period, and I agree with you that Barnabas look quite dapper in the suits he gets in 1897. It's my belief that no man looks bad in a three piece suit.

I was watching the beginning of boxset 13 last night, when I realized something.... they had this gorgeous dress on Maggie, but never used it to my recollection during the 1897 storyline. I may be mistaken, but seeing as how it's (I believe) Rachel's dress, we never see it on Rachel herself.

I don't honestly remember if we see it at other times, but I do remember that Rachel is seen wearing that dress in at least Eps #715 and #716:
